I am bored enough to go looking.

Looks like it came from an Eels instragram post about the school visit, where it looks like the five Eels players in the group photo with the kids are all backup players (there is Arthur, Dunster, Murchie, and two other guys I don't recognise).

Although Broncos players do school visits all the time and it doesnt stop them playing football.

No correlation, Googling has a paywall article with a pic of DBrown (I think) meeting Territory kids yesterday. Pretty sure he’ll recover from this arduous community work to start at 6, although maybe Arthur in standby,

There is another IG post with a bunch of pics from an Eels signing session, probably the same pic (has Brown pictured with a kid)

Chatting to Jake Arthur in Darwin. 18th man again for Friday’s NRL match vs Brisbane. Afterwards he will take midnight flight back to Sydney in order to make it to Auckland for the NSW Cup match between the Warriors and Eels on Sun. Says he struggles to sleep on planes. @EelsTCT

Having said all this, I think Simo could come in for Dunster but i don’t think a school visit is it

They don't train all day, do they? A bit of local.outreach sounds standard.

That would be one of the issues with going early on Dunster is if he loses his spot before rd 13 and doesn't end up playing any of the bye rounds

Not sure I can support Souths if we sign Wighton on that kind of money. That's absurd. What a crap signing.

I'm leaning Manu cause I have a man crush but Keary was the first one I thought of. his scoring should significantly go up. IMO if Walker is out for a few weeks, Keary is a great trade in at 507K.

The MN came out to 14480 this week*, which I didn't bother to adjust, and just ran with, so would explain it being a bit out of whack.

*maybe my script went weird, but it had been the same as Milch's every other week. Milch just used 13500 to run the BE's I think, maybe I will do the same.

EDIT i just re-ran them with 13600 MN

Think I mentioned it in the BE post, but last week was the lowest scoring round in years, so the price changes would have been a bit funny.
If MTB used that alone for his MN it would probably give skewed results.

Speaking of, are there any Sydney meet ups going this year.

Nothing is planned, but if you (or any out-of-staters) come down we can arrange one to suit your travel dates

    Fair enough folks

So Keary is essentially high risk/high reward?

Sounds like right up my alley!

Dunster's background price can absolutely drop below $220k.
If he puts up a few single digit scores he could easily be worth something like $180k. You'll always be able to buy and sell him for $220k, but for him to hit $221k he'd first have to make up the other $40k he lost behind the scenes.

Saw it a little bit with Khan Pereira, who from $220k needed scores of 26 and 38 just to make $14k in 2 weeks.[/quote]

Anyone remember how long Manu and Latrell were put for when Robinson dropped them back to reserve grade early in their careers? (I don't.)

    Any other Carrigan owners holding?

The minutes are there, am I dumb to think he goes back to scoring how he has done in years past and early this season.

Can do Carrigan to Matterson but would require 3 trades, Alamoti-Host Carty-Teddy Carrigan-Matterson

Currently only doing Carty to Manu and potentially Alamoti to Host.

Really didn`t think I would have to sell Carrigan before round 13

May add some kicking, but the running game and try assists go to Manu.

    Thanks Milchy, very good point.
More an issue if people were looking at him as an out and out Cash Cow - which I don't think I am necessarily.
