Scores 94 and keeps his spot, could have changed my season. Alas I didn’t and here we are almost back at 20k rank

Just went back to Part 20 where Hosking was first named to start and I joked about bringing him in for a quick 50 points and then flicking him the following week when the troops came back.
Scores 94 and keeps his spot, could have changed my season. Alas I didn’t and here we are almost back at 20k rank

TPJ with 6 OF (4 OFH and 2 to ground) has me very keen as I almost straight swap price wise for Carty
I was fairly keen in preseason as I haven’t been burnt before. McInnes probably the other alternative at similar price

Having identified last week the four 570-600k mid options as McInnis, MoFo, Horsburgh and Taumalolo (and then buying none of them), this week Lolo gets dropped from the list but JDB (slightly more expensive) and TPJ get added.
R13 means that JDB and Hors would head that list at the moment for me. Given that my outs would be Katoa and/or Loiero I'll probably wait a week though (certainly with Horsburgh).

Keen on TPJ too, just wanted to see him get through the first game back.

EKatoa is an interesting one. Get the feeling he's always going to have 35 point games in him. Unlike the recognised gun edges don't think he goes looking for work if the ball isn't coming to his edge much.
But on the flip side will have the upside for 60pt games too and higher. Has had four scores around 60 without scoring a try yet and he is sure to go over for a few.
With the two byes within 5 weeks probably a good case to sell but personally all of Carty, Loiero, HSS, Warbrick and possibly Alamoti or Null are bigger priorities.

My rule this season has been to not sell a peaked cow unless one of the following happens
* They get dropped, injured or lose their role (e.g Keppie)
* They have two successive low scores
This rule can be broken to buy a genuine gun (e.g. I sold Hopgood to Fifita last week and Carty to get SJ the week before) but unless something unexpected happens on TLT, I think I'll be holding Katoa one more week at least.

Those who traded in Ouchman - what are your plans for him moving forward?

Patience.
Young player and a big body. Will give it a couple of weeks to see what Hook does with him.

Fifita going 60+ without a try.
Think its time to jump on as surely he gets one soon and pumps out a huge score.
Carty to D.Fifi
been wasting most of my trades with Dud moves like Sloan to Couch last week, but it has given me enough cash to do this move.
probably like most people my bench is in trouble.
E.Katoa
Preston

Wait and see what happens....not in any rush to resolve the situation if there is no viable alternative.
Not sure how much the fuckup with the interchange impacted the Dragons changes but it did look like he is going to be the low minute MID (given JDB, Bird and Su'a all played big mins) which is not ideal.
Those last two games really made a schmozzle of my trades.
