I would play Boyd and risk Carty against the hapless Tigs. But if you want a safe option Boyd/Loiero.

I like this a lot, if matterson gets given dual after this round he’ll be the best option for rd 13 too

Def an upgrade on carty and niko takes dooreys dead spot,

I’d do it if I was you

It's a heck of a lot more exciting than HSS + Doorey to IKat + CNK/Perham/Sloan

It does mean I'm running Warbrick/ITT as my third WFB for two more weeks, but it's probably worth it.

Thanks to yourself & MTB & anyone else thinking Matto isn't crazy

What average would people be expecting from Matto playing in the middle?

He had that great run of 5 or 6 games last year where he beasted it but outside of those he also had quite a lot of low 40s as well. Just not sure if he's worth it at $777k.

    Definitely tempted

These are my trades this week (Well Carty + Chee kam out, Matterson + Nikorima in)
So either I am doing something wrong or right here
Got to laugh that those two players cost 250k each as well, no way I would have believed that in 2022 that they would be that good

If a purely Matto vs Murray discussion, I think i'd rather grab matto at the moment. There isn't much in it, but Matto plays rnd 13 and Murray might get his mins chopped back a little according to Souths coach.

As per @FaringdonSwirl except I think I like Matto more than Murray at this stage (but holding Hopgood this week)

Thanks for the replies fellas I appreciate the feedback.

I think grabbing Matto is a really SnatchPato kind of move. It's a move where it loses about 5-10 points per week on average (based on previous years), but it locks in a round 13 gun, has upside potential, and streamlines the future (not having to trade out Murray between 13-19).

It also leaves me $96k in the kitty, so I like that a lot as well. Will probably mean I won't get Murray at all until end game, which I hate, but you can't have em all I guess!

Considering I have two Eels (last game) and Trindall in the trade, I don't have to decide until Friday night when the Dolphins (Katoa trade in) play. Thinking I'll take a breather, ponder it over the course of tonight, and hope something comes up tomorrow when I can decide.

Those hapless Tigers still concede the fourth least fantasy points... (but then they are leaking the most average points to second rowers)

So I have the opportunity to get a look at Warbrick's score and then decide if I want to:

    a) take the score, not trade BMM to AKP
    b) trade BMM to AKP and get AKP's score

    What's your over/under for Warbrick's score?

Also if you told me at the start of the year I could do Hopgood + 47k to Matto I would've been laughing. It's the equivalent of being able to start this year with Matterson priced at 510k - bargain!

Feel with no iPap this year that Matto gets used between mid and edge. Allows for more offloads which seems to be his style. Also allows for Matto to move wide and HopGod to play 13.

Average I think will be high 50s to low 60s. He is the dynamic player in the forward pack, the link man etc. Brad trusts him in any forward role so expect him to play 70+
