You don't make ground standing still. I've only made 2 trades and 1 was because I changed off Carty before 1st game. Based on WT forum opinions on Wakeham form trials and for Magpies and pre season chatter that was dismissed as nothing to it about Doueihi would end up playing not in the halves, I think this completely different

Something to remember about team forums is literally anyone in reserve grade is always 'better' than the players who arent winning in top grade.

Im keen on wakeham but will probably just leave it a week and if he looks good/tigers look improved he can come in.

So long as they keep losing then changes will keep getting made.

    The problem as I see it is this;
To start the season Sheens decided his halves pairing would be: Brooks, Doueihi

He knew that both had a shortened pre-season (especially Brooks).
Nevertheless, when they failed to gel after 2 games he added a backup half to the bench.

Now has shifted the five-eighth to fullback with the season starting fullback added to the bench.

What's the chances that Wakeham plays 50 minutes, then Doueihi is back playing 6 and Laurie is fullback. The thing with Sheens, is you wouldn't know what he's thinking.

And that's before you even consider that he gave the incumbent halves just 2.5 weeks... how long will he give to a late season addition to the squad if the Tigers don't chalk up some wins?

Yeah, this. Until they find some success it's going to be a bumpy ride as far as selections go.

If Wakeham was 250k I could see taking a risk.. 352k with dicey job security doesn't sound appealing. He'd need to average 40 over an extended period to be worth it I think, and the average alone might be a tough ask.

Not to bring up matchups......but I will, playing a wounded Storm team at home surely looking to attack and bounce back.

At least it feels more like bad luck rather than a dumb move. Even with Matto back, he pumps out a score you'd let your daughter date.

What if the score was one less - still ok with dating then?

Would guess the plan is fast-tracked straight into the World Cup squad, stick around 4 more years playing 60 tests mostly at outside centre where he barely gets tackled or makes tackles, then make millions playing at 3/4 intensity in France. Hard to blame him.

So which centre are the Roosters going to have next year? Te Whare? Staggs? Holmes?

Nice. I used to listen to a CD version known as 13 songs (I think it's the same as the seven songs with some extras).
Pretty much wore that CD out back in the day - they were a particularly awesome live band

They were magnificent, saw them a couple of times and both memorable shows! Yeah 13 songs is the first two EPs on one release.

Edit : Also just discovered they recorded all of their shows and have re-mastered them and released them as digital downloads available on the Dischord records site. So for $5 USD you can download a copy of the show you went to! Over 900 shows...amazing commitment to archiving.

Yeah, I'd expect some bounce back - Bellamy will be in to them to show some character.

That being said, I expected the Storm to bounce back last week too and show some character... especially in Queensland where they seem to love to torch teams... and against a Titans team that was marginally better than the heavily maligned Tigers

Yeah and without Hughes, I think the Tigers are a good chance of winning. That said this is the Sheenius Tigers so they could just as well be done by 60.

If anything my tip for this game is "who the fuck knows what'll happen"
