You're inefficiently using money on guys that aren't that good. I would make the following changes:

    * Hammer down to Soni Luke and put Alamoti at starting CTR - Alamoti will score just as well if not better and you free up $122k

    * CNK down to Khan-Pereira and just play HSS at WFB if you don't want to play AKP, CNK is alright but again, you're paying $142k more for not that many more points.

    * Egan Butcher to Teig Wilton - Wilton is likely to start on the edge for the Sharks and actually scored alright even with Wade Graham there as long as he was starting with Wade on the bench. This frees up another $26k

Take that $290k you've just freed up ($314k bank with what you have before) and then do the following upgrades:

    * Mahoney to Haas (play Cheese at HOK), this leaves you $138k and gets you a 10 point increase in scoring (Haas is fully fit and should average low 60s, Mahoney probably averages 50-52 at best)

    * Cotter to Murray, Murray has a much bigger ceiling than Cotter does and is much more likely to get big enough mins, especially with Havili's injury. Also as a Souths fan you'll have more fun owning him Very Happy

This leaves you with a stacked MID line while everyone else is messing around with cheapies and middies, and you aren't really giving up much to do it. Your side would look like this:

    Cheese
    Haas, Murray, Tapine
    Wilton, Garner
    Cleary, Burton
    Thompson, Alamoti
    Miller, Perham, HSS

    Hopgood, Boyd, Loiero, Uto

    Luke, Doorey, Sloan, AKP

Wilton is decent, averaged 49 as starting EDG, but that may be a bit lower this season with Graham probably stealing minutes often.

Egan is likely to be a beast now that he finally has his starting shot, especially the way that the Roosters tend to play their EDG players, often rotating them through defending in the MID while on the field as EDG in attack. He has every chance of being an elite EDG in fantasy in the 55+ points range, well worth the extra $26k over Wilton.

If he drops from 0.94 PPM to an 80 minute EDG role at just 0.7 PPM he is hitting a 56 point average, with upside potential from there.

If Danny Levi gets the starting gig at Canberra are we on board, he’s priced at 319k, break even of 22,

He’s named starting hooker in final trial, it piqued my interest to see that

Surely not with Starling, Woolford and even Frawley lurking.

The risk of Egan Butcher is nobody knows how long Angus Crichton will be out for. There's been nothing official out of the Roosters, its all just guesswork and rumours about what is going on.

Can't see Starling's role changing, he averaged 47 minutes off the bench last year. That would leave Levi with 33 minutes, with a PPM around 0.6, he could easily lose cash!

    Reasonable, and makes sense,

Woolford isn’t named in the extended subs even for trial, and I haven’t seen any injury reports on him,

Aye if starling is continuing to average huge mins it’s obviously a NoGo, will be interested to see how they use them

    That wasn't the statement though?

You think Egan Butcher is less likely to spend time on the interchange bench in 2023 than internationals Angus Crichton and David Fifita were in 2022?

Butcher could be a fantasy gun, btw, if he's a regular starter. But 55+ is a little toppy for an estimate.

Egan Butcher currently with a 63 career average when starting (1 game sample size  Cool )

Can someone tell a new comer the story behind all the Rapana emoticons in the toolbar?

You sure you don't already have him in your team on the bench or something and don't realise?

If you already have them, then nothing shows up when you search.

    Happened to me before lol

Maybe, with the disclaimer that Danny Levi has a long history of not being very good at fantasy scoring (also football IMO) and his appearance in the second trial for me indicates that none of the Raiders hookers are going to be relevant until we get a clearer picture of what ricky is going to do ( Very Happy )

Also Levi is fond of an Illeism
