3 trades last week, 2 trades this week.
Can probably stop the trading after dealing with Trindall in the next week or two.

Is there a way to subscribe or use the free 2 week trial for assistant coach this year? Laughing

Yeah they still have the 14 day trial. Click on anything that would normally be for assistant coach and it should direct you to the page to subscribe

First time playing VSDT this year and I'm currently ranked 228 overall, not bad at all Very Happy I'm mostly just treating it like SC but with shittier backs and better forwards.

Didn't use any trades last week but I'm using three this week: Doorey, Talau and Miller to Preston, Hammer and Kiraz. It does mean I have to hold Cheese and Boyd but I don't have to play them so I don't mind. Leaves me with the following team:

    $132k bank

    Grant (C) - Cheese
    Haas, Uto - Keppie, Pele
    Murray, HopGOAT (VC), D Fifita - Katoa (R), Loiero (R), Preston (R)
Doueihi, I Katoa - Cleary, Boyd
Holmes, Kiraz - Turuva, Alamoti (R)
Mitchell, Turbo, Hammer - Warbrick, AKP

Smith and Butcher out. Would you go:

    A. Grant and Cartwright
    B. Mahoney and Nicholls

    Leaning towards A…

That's a possibility, but is there a chance that Carty might hold his spot, with Doorey dropping to the bench?

I was planning to buy Carty this week, but now I'm looking at Preston instead. Any idea of what Preston's JS might be like?

i would get preston over carty...has better js & by the way his coach talks him up imo he's should hold his starting spot

Thanks WL. That's the vibe that I've been getting about Preston this week.

I luckily had Preston from round one and played him last week.
So Carty coming in for a hopeful cash grab.

Wow. 970 gives me a overall rank of 17. Shocked
I don't do a lot of planning so have never been so high before. What I've done with my team seems so obvious, so I'm a bit surprised.
If I'm still this high in a few weeks be warned. I might do what rabs did in NRLFF thread and PM a bunch of you with my team and ask advise as to what I should be doing.  Laughing
No I won't do that, maybe.

    Nice work, W/L and Code.

I've had the complete opposite start. A score of 850 has placed me at 1416th overall... as far as I know, that's probably the lowest I've ever been ranked in this format, including my first crack at it. Could be wrong, though.

Terrible captain choices is one factor, but obviously far more to it than that.
