Certainly won't go down as one of the great grand finals but well done to Penrith, they made sure the Eels were never in it.

Great effort by the Panthers, the Eels tried but couldn't get the momentum to swing their way (bar the last 5 mins)

Well done ET looks like you’ve finished 6th in Mixer. I have done well this round S. Crichton went well too for me. I have finished 41st and second in fanatics league quite stoked with that!

Yeah, I knew the pivot to Tago was a risk - but if fate had left him & Crichton with each others scores then it looks like I may have edged first by a few points.
That being said, had I not changed things up (and stuck with Crichton) then I would've claimed 3rd. Still, it was good fun and happy with it.

Well done on your placing as well, great to see you back yourself and you edged out a lot of quality players!

A footy player punching out a mouthy teen in a nightclub used to be a standard post-game night in Wollongong (and I assume Newy, Townsville, probably Brisbane).

Bit of run down on my last few days to make you all squirm. Got hit in the nuts in the field playing cricket Saturday. New it was bad straight away. Went to hospital for scans. Ruptured left nut. 24 hours later and I've been operated on it. Testicle has been saved but they had to cut about 20 % of ot it out as the tissue was mangled. Had literally exploded out the other side from the impact. Blew up 3 times the size of the right. Getting discharged later today. Would not recommend.

Sorry to hear mate that’s sounds extremely painful you must be in agony.

I hope they have given you strong pain relief.

I’m seeing my Nanna this arvo. The cancer is much worse in the lungs. Soon they think she will be coughing up blood and pain will start (she gets very breathless even just getting dressed or standing up). Upcoming will need to look at palliative care but not just yet. I’m gonna try enjoy the time left with her. Looks like she won’t see Christmas. This scan compared with the one a month ago showed the cancer is much more seriously taking over the lungs. She also has it in the kidney and liver. It initially started in the breast but by the time they took the breast off it had gotten into her lymph nodes triple negative cancer a very aggressive type a a rare form of cancer not many people get.

Dads cousin died a month ago or a bit over too didn’t know he had the bad diabetes wouldn’t see a doctor thought he only had type 2, it killed him along with high blood pressure, Covid and affects of smoking. My Great Aunty lost her husband my Great Uncle around 18 months ago and now her son is gone too she’s left by herself. Dads cousin was 54.

It’s certainly been a bad year, Sister got health issues too currently getting tested for MS. Dad without a job currently got made redundant from his old job.
