    I'm mostly joking, but I have to say;

Would you rather have 4 competition points, BUT the Panthers, Cowboys and Roosters to come
    OR
The Knights, Sea Eagles and Tigers to come?

Bunnies are clearly in the drivers seat, but if they lose this week it could really come down to the wire.

I prefer the hard draw playing easy ones can give you a false sense of where you’re really at.

Man oh man the Forum has become more dry than our creek during a drought.

thought I'd post my final team, now I've pulled the trigger.

    The Bludgers 2022 final 17 line-up.
Team value: $13.85m (about par for course I'd say)

    Cook
    Haas / I.Pap / Tohu
    D.Fifita / Koala
    Doo-hickey / DCE
    Burton / Avo
    Teddy / Hynes / Latrell
    Grant
    Angus
    Robson
    (Loop)
    To'o
    Koula
    Mam

    NPRs
    Palasia
    Hosking

    Dumbest trade in: Peoples
Missed opportunity: May (when he started), selling Kiraz too early.
Best trade decision: picking up Burton @ $597k
Player I wish I'd started with: Cook
Gun I most wish I had: Murray
Best Fantasy lesson I learned: saving trades early to field a semi-competitive team over the bye-rounds, this is why the Bludgers are in the top 1000 (currently 981). Every other year, I've been a victim of rage-trading and FOMO, leaving not enough trades to go hard over the byes.

Cheers to all and sundry who are guns at this game and willingly share their trade plans.
    Bring on 2023.

Smalley onto the wing and Koula to fullback.
Not sure how that works given Weekes is a fullback and is in the named squad and Smalley was not initially named.

Going by eye, ynots chart shows about 1/3rd are out of trades. Around 1/3rd have 1 left. Around 1/3rd 2+. This is for top 1,000

Should I use my last trade to replace Garrick or play Mbye. Only have 670k to spend so can't get Teddy or Latrell.

Maybe take a punt on Cobbo? If not, Brimson. Tough one to trade or not, depends on your depth.

No depth, Mbye is the last of my reserves, all the rest are red dots Beer

Have Doueihi already I'm guessing? Does it have to be a WFB or can you move someone from halves down to cover?

Brimson, Drinkwater, Edwards, Walsh would be my shortlist (maybe Gutherson but with Moses back might be a bit riskier)

I mean, Garrick ain't coming back......just depends if you want to hold and see if someone more expensive goes down or gets a rest. Kinda points towards trading, unless you think MBye can nab a 30.

Cheers fellas. Yeah has to be a WFB and I am still in a couple of H2H playoffs so may as well make the trade.

Now to spend a couple of hours deciding which of the below elite WFBs to choose Very Happy

    Put my mixer team in

Going Simaima Taufa over Destiny Brill for a bit of a POD move (Brill named at hooker after playing at lock all last year, not sure what difference that will make to her scoring)
Millie Boyle is the other popular MID. She has moved from the best team (broncos) to the worst (Knights) - will that impact her scoring?. Might even improve it if she has to get through more work.

Keilee Joseph at EDG - she averaged 46 last year off the bench but has taken Brill's starting lock position

Also Isabelle Kelly because she is as good a gun as you get at CTR

    Cook/Hynes/Teddy for the NRL guns

I’ve gone with Grant I think he will go big this round.

Grant Murray Joseph (Booster) Hynes (Booster) Kelly Tonegato

    So Joseph and Hynes booster

Just did one of these mixer teams and entered the league. I have zero interest in this but I'm killing time in the office until 5pm so seemed somewhat productive. Not for the company of course though....
