Just had a look and the top (active) team as far as I can tell is in 1442 with a squad value of 14.737 mil.

Have ended up at $13.404 mil, better than I managed last year but probably still a touch below par.
The Bludgers came in at $14.024
    Better than I thought possible.
We'll put that down to the Hynes train, picking up Burton in the 600s and the various slam-dunk cash-cows (Tago, Koula, Elliott etc.) that raised their hands this year.
Spud awards to Talakai (yes, I bought in high and sold low), D.Fifita who I started with and had to stomach four weeks of crap and price drops before kicking him to the curb,  and Cleary (but who cares what price you pick up the great Chin).

Was just looking up Teddy and noticed he has three scores of 81 this year, as well as 2 scores of 48.

Got me wondering who has the record for most identical scores in a season.

First three my brain went to: Jurbo scored 52 four times last year.

Tohu scored 61 three times last year, and 63 two times (to go with a 62 and 64 to complete the set).

Cam Smith scored 72 three times in 2014 (8 scores total between 70-76, remarkable consistency that year) and 74 four times in 2019.

Any other submissions? Can anyone beat 4?

Going back to the beginning of the database (2013 or so), Tom Burgess has 15 scores of 36. Josh Jackson has 13 scores of 54.

Matt Eisenhuth has had 5 x 35s this season! There are a whole bunch of players with 4 x the same score in the same season, just looking at 2022 and 2021.

Thanks for that, who is the clown  then. Made the trade first thing it opened and not touching it Basketball

3 trades left and 137k in the bank and ended up with this lot

    Cook
    Murray, Hass, IPap
    Angus, Harris
    Cleary, DCE
    Tago, Burton
    Mitchell, Beans, Teddy

Res, Doueihi, Lolo, Elliott and Robson

NPP, Hughes, Booth, Koula and Kennedy.

I could trade in Aitken but think holding a trade may be more prudent. ( 14.4M )

    $13.038M here.

Thanks to me selling Burton for Talakai in round 6, trading in Tass, Peoples and Matamua...

... and who can forget my personal favourite - trading in Elliott for him to become a red dot and then trading him out when he was named on the bench the next round only for him to be promoted to the starting line up and score 43 and average 57 from then on.

Are people still looking at my BEs?
I assume its irrelevant for most, but just noticed I had a price filter still on the sheet when I posted them this week so all expensive players got missed. Nobody complained so does that mean we're all at a point where BEs don't matter?

I do, and greatly appreciate them. heading into H2H finals, they help to work out who to get in this week or who to wait for until next week for example. Can see that they're no longer really relevant for overall teams though. Hadn't got around to looking at this week's yet...

    $13.67M

lost a fair chunk with Pappy but pretty happy with that

no clue how somebody can have a team value of more then a $1M more then I do and I'm outranking them, must just be going after cash and not points.

Do see how people have better 18-21 then I do

im rocking a very ugly Booth Mbye Anderson Trindal so I have most of my cash in the 17.

    Beat you - $12.954m

    No Hynes until R6
    Mahoney over Cook to start
    Sold Burton at R7
    Vailea at 21 all season

A few dubious trades but probably no/more less than most, so really thinking it just those decisions costing 100s in points and 100k's in cash gen

Barnett for me. Have had him for a few weeks and I'm not impressed... manages to get demerits across pretty much every category. Hughes would be the other - but I'd bet on the Storm, and Hughes, coming good.

13.525m for me, got on most of the major money makers (Tago May Koula Elliott etc.), managed to make 140k off Talakai but got burned selling Teddy and then not buying Burton until he was 800k (but glad I got him in eventually).

Ramsey was also a very nice cash cow for me, got him at 281 and am selling him this week for 453.

Also managed to start with Munster (I think he was 710k or something) and bought Cook for 800k in round 5

My favourite move this season was when I traded out Bruton for around $550k and then traded him back in at close to $800k about 6 weeks later.

Sexton also averaged 18.5 for the two rounds I owned him

He averaged 55 for the five rounds before I traded him in & 66 for the two rounds after I sold him

I would probably go Barnett over Moses to trade out but that would require an extra trade. That extra trade however could be Tolo to Butcher....hmm....

My trade for the week will be Koula - DFifita

Just short of Harry Grant. Could double trade him in by downgrading Palasia but think I'll just save the trade and grab Fifita instead. 3 trades to cover injuries in the last few weeks.

Papy to pretty much anyone is a good trade. I think RFM is a sound trade - 1 thing you don't want os him missing an extra week (or going back to bench when he returns) when you could have moved him on. Hastings is the other option about that price range if you want another trade option
