I don’t think it was intentional grub but ref probably should’ve pulled it up and replay the tackle?

Like next time someone cramps they could get smashed by the tackler to prevent “doing a Manu”, the tackler will be slated as thug for making a legal play, and it will cause an all-in brawl or at least a lot of shoving and shirt grabbing.

As an aside if Manu is injured Im possibly down to 16 with 1 trade left. Hardly had injuries all year - was just waiting for me to get low it seems. How good

Paps to Douehi just makes too much sense, Ted the obvious premium but saving $200k is a no brainer. But then Latrell has to go gumming up the works with some ridiculously dominant displays and tempting me into a 4th gun WFB when I should be targeting Cook/Murray/Grant. How can I have 4 gun WFBs and none of them be Teddy?, it makes no sense. Latrell looked amazing but the Souths draw is ridiculously tough. And all the fanfare of “Latrell about to go on a 2021 Turbo run” reminds me a little of how Talakai was the best centre in All-under-Heaven, and he looked pretty damn unstoppable in a 3 game sample too. I feel like I am going to have to make the trade purely out of damage control, he’s a pretty popular pick at the top of the table so its a huge risk for me if he continues to brain it. Probably means I only get two of Cook/Murray/Grant though.

    Considering:
    Papy>Douehi
    Koula/Ramsey>Latrell

Latrell has the pedigree and history mate.  I don't think you can compare him to Talakai.

I'm also thinking the damage control thing is a reason to get him.  But what about Ted?  I won't have him either.

When were the 3 concussions? He only failed 1 HIA mate and that was in the last origin. Looking back on last 2 years yes he’s copped bumps but he hasn’t had many HIA’s at all where he’s failed them.

Eyeing off the 4 following trades....

    May to Booth
    Pap to Latrell
    M. King to Grant
    Lolo to Murray

Then I’ll just have the extra 4 trades coming left....

    Team would be:

    Grant
    McInnes Murray Tohu
    Ipap Angus
    Cleary DCE
    Burton Aitken
    Teddy Hynes Latrell

    Mahoney Elliot Moses RFM
    Koula Booth Kennedy Matamua

Thoughts do I pull the trigger?

If teams don't go into their own self imposed bubbles leading into the finals they're exposing themselves to massive risk.
Imagine if a Cleary or Moses or Latrell get covid on the eve of the grand final and are ruled out.
Wonder how team mates would react if they got it from sneaking out of a bubble. Seems like something Cleary is more than capable of doing.

I don't like the idea of trading green dots towards the backend of the season, but I need to make moves as I'm just outside the top 1k (1079). Despite South's tough draw, I cannot ignore Latrell's form this season. Thinking of going all out this week and using my remaining 4 trades. However, I could wait on Doueihi and Haas

    Papi > Latrell
    Hughes > Doueihi
    Brown> Fifita
King > Haas (if he returns).

Anyone else thinking of trading in a red dot for looping or still to early in the season.

    A no from me.

With Covid cases on the rise again (40k in NSW in last week), and more virulent strains now here, I’m going to keep 21 green dots as long as possible.

Didn't end up picking Papy as I decided to wait and see how he would bounce back from injury, picked up Latrell instead. I was looking at bringing Papy in with one of the bonus round 20 trades, but I guess I'll be using that trade to get Doueihi.

Is Hosking going to hang around? Looks like a solid pick-up

    At this stage;

    Pap - Mitchell
    Barnett - Doueihi

    Gives me this team with 1+4 trades and 148K;

    Cook
    IPap McInnes Tolo
    Crichton Harris
    Clearly DCE
    Manu Burton
    Hynes Doueihi Mitchell

    Robson Elliot Aitken Moses

    Koula Palasia Kennedy Matamua

    Pretty solid I think.
