Yeah I’m in a bit of trouble as well, decided to roll transfer rather than Dias -> Maddison after being legit 50/50 on it all week.
That 14 pts the difference between ~725k and ~360k overall rank lol
but going to try and stick with the plan and play through, because last year when i reacted to a 50/50 gone wrong the hole just got deeper

Do you have KDB? Easy swap from him to Salah.
That is my move plus Shaw to Tarkowski.
Then Kane to Darwin for a -4 did cross my mind but not going to do that - maybe if Darwin had solid minutes outlook but he doesn't with Jota and Firmino back.

No KDB. mid field is all 5M-8M guys none of the liverpool guys on form really rate for investment for me, maybe a 1 week punt on TAA or Roberston for tripper I guess

Yeah fair enough.
Trippier to TAA I considered too but don't love it. There's the big blank gameweek in 28 and then double gameweek in 29 to consider now too and Trippier is guaranteed to play in 28 and I'm not sure if I'll be free hitting or not.

Was on the fence about wildcarding but decided to wait until GW28. Part of the reason was that every WC team is basically the same and I liked the idea of having my 3 Liverpool as differential's for a couple of weeks - particularly for Bournemouth next week. Did not expect that against Man United!

Yeah it’s entirely team dependent. With hindsight, still think the decision made sense for my team. Just a disastrous outcome.

Yeah, although I do think getting/keeping liverpool now is more hope than substance. I made one transfer of bueno to estpuenio, still have 1 ft in the bank to bring in brentford attacker maybe or just stick with my 2/3 (sanchez) brighton players

I wildcarded in 22, which has seen my rank improve in the last month. So yeah I still had Van Dijk and Gakpo in my team
