Looks like at least three quarters of my team is on the rage trade list My team is pretty template so millions are in the same boat.
You have one free transfer every week, any additional transfer costs -4 points.

1 free one a week, you can make additional trades at a cost of -4 points per trade (up to a max of 20)

You can stockpile your freebies but only to a maximum of 2 (if you have 2 free ones already you don’t get another one in the following game week)

Any trades you make during a game week (after lockout) count towards the next game week)

So what's a good team score any given week?

Early thoughts for my free transfer.
Perisic to Zinchenko... gets another +0.5mil
Zinchenko looked solid and should get more game-time at Arsenal than at MCI last season.
Perisics had reduced game-time as expected, and will be a good transfer in later in the season.

I played Bailey over Perisic this GW, but will probably play Zinchenko over Bailey next week.

I am new at this, only played once before. The players prices seemed to change throughout the week. I trade at the last possible moment in SC, but I don't think that works with FPL. Can someone explain how the prices change?

It’s based on popularity rather than performance.

So if lots of players are buying someone, they go up. If lots of people are selling they go down. Theres a couple of websites that try and predict price changes but not totally accurately.

For the most part I think you still want to trade as late as possible. I think losing 0.1 in team value is better than risking getting someone in early who then gets injured

Thanks! This makes sense. I listened and watched shows for advice, and then wondered why the prices of players mentioned always went up!

Yeah and the price changes happen once per day, around midday Australia time I think.

Nope, every day of the week.

I use fplstatistics.co.uk l if I need to see the likelihood of someone rising or falling - the closer the "target" number is to 100 the more likely they are to rise, and the same for falling the closer to -100.

Some people get way too carried away with trying to make money on players/avoiding losing money, I generally use it when I know I want to make a certain transfer but someone rising or falling could price me out of it. May mean that I make the move earlier in the week instead of waiting to the last day for certainty re injuries etc.

Got triple city coming up. The one change to my original squad was Foden in for Mount.

I've got 49 points with Cancello and Sanchez still to come, most of my players were pretty meh this week. Not too concerned though, it's a long season.
