Haas out would be annoying, but at least it solves the question of how I get iPap in for R17 (once he drops a bit more cash this round hopefully).

He's done so much work carrying Queensland that they really should give him Origin 3 off.

I obviously wouldn't say this just because it would help my fantasy team

My fun fact today involves the number 69 which we are fond of in this forum...a Russian woman gave birth to 69 children which included 16 pairs of twins, 7 sets of triplets & 4 sets of quadruplets...so that is basically 4 nrl teams including the bench.

And this is why I'm glad I traded him out.
Haas out means I wait longer to get him in.
At this stage I have no idea who to trade Cotter to.
    scratch
Pappy's BE is high enough to wait and see.
Grant - ditto, could lose some more $
Perhaps Cook? Or, Murray (although the head knock will mean he may be heading for a managed couple of games).
Aitken - if he even plays.
If Munster is out long term (what a shame that would be), Hughes may be the go.

Haas to IPap or Matterson if Haas is confirmed out for a while...at least he won't lose cash if he doesn't play & both IPap & Matterson have b/e's over 76 so they could be a bit cheaper round 17.

I’m going Matterson from Twal just because he will be there next year and I feel will be favoured compared to everyone around him.

    Just a thought from me

Yeah I own neither IPap or Matterson...both similar price & b/e's but Matterson ownership 6% vs IPap 29% so Matterson is the play for me.

    Koula to Kennedy
    Tago to Hughes
    Haas to Pappy/Grant

I like the other 2 but Koula to Kennedy is a bit meh unless you need the cash or desperately need the (probably minimal) extra points and think either of those are valuable enough to use a trade. I'd be inclined to hold off for another 17 cash out if you could afford to

I'm feeling very vindicated in my decision to trade Haas to Burton last week. Paying 814k for Burton wasn't ideal, but I'm glad I did it.

As long as Papy ends up starting at fullback (and lucky for us he plays the first game), he is 100% coming straight into my team, and as long as he looks fit this week, he is my captain for round 17, as I will have very few players and will need to roll the dice.

Yeah in that situation I would just keep Koula and go Tago to Kennedy to raise money if needed.

Unless Munster's out for a long time (seems like only 2-4 weeks which realistically means 1-2 NRL games since he probably wouldn't have backed up in round 18 anyway), I'm not convinced Hughes is worth it, he's great IRL but he doesn't go well in fantasy when Munster's fit and firing.

That said, I'm personally going Koula to Kennedy because I need money to afford Tago to Papy.

Don't think there'll be much better cashouts for 17 than Kennedy. He'll actually play 80 mins rest of season and that's not bad for cashout 34k more than base

I've got 2nd thoughts on getting Mahoney, now there is a chance he gets selected at 9/14 for QLD game 3

I don't understand why people wasting trades getting him because of 17. It's not like anyone will field 17 in Rd 17 that having HOK matters. Only hookers, if not already owned, that should be targets soonish are Cook and Grant

Cook Grant and Cotter (once fit) are the only hookers worth owning, the rest are not keepers (Mahoney is borderline)

I forgot about Robson, he's good enough to hold too but probably not worth buying given Grant is cheaper
