Yeah I thought the same hahah

That makes a bit more sense.

Trade hard early and hang on for dear life, think this guy's probably left himself too much to do, but who am I to give #1 advice when I'm sitting in the 4000s Laughing

Jeez, fourth and fifth are in good position with 13 and 14 trades.

Notice a bit of pedigree further back, with Phil Gould's Chins in 21st and Verbal making a charge into the top 100.

Do we reckon Grant backs up from Origin given the Storm play on Thursday? Hard to get too much of a read since he was injured for Origin 2 and 3 last year and Origin was post-season in 2020.

All there really is to go on is that he played reduced mins in R14 this year and last after Origin for mid 40s scores.

Keen to get him at this price and because I can't keep running with one HOK, but might be better to wait til R18/19?

Got one HOK too but waiting for Grant and running gauntlet w Robson

Every week I get less keen on Mahoney. Don’t want to bring him in just for a back up and R17 averaging under 50. Seems a waste. Has 1 more round to change my mind though

Those that we’re waiting to see how Barnett went this week, how did he go and could he be considered a keeper?

Considering he had 15 minutes out for an HIA, over 50, mostly in base, can be considered a strong tick imo.

Oh wow missed the HIA bit. Okay pencil him in as one trade in a fortnight.

    Butcher to Barnett
    Ilias to Moses

Can afford the trades I want so locking in 3 upgrades, 3x round 17 options and a cash out

    Out Kiraz, Koula, Cotter, Butcher
    In Grant, Hughes, Ipap, Kennedy

That completes the 17 with 4+4 trades left. Might turn Mam into Ponga in a few weeks if cash allows

    Grant
    Ipap, McInnes, Haas
    Crichton, Frizell
    Cleary, Hughes
    Bird, Penisini
    Hynes, To'o, Walsh

    Burton, Robson, Harris, Keary

    Mam, Kennedy, Keppie, Lee

Are you going to push for 17? Not too many options to choose from, but a few extra will make a difference

It’s a hard one to balance because the viable players to bring in will probably leak any of the points gained in the rounds after against the season keepers.

I’m thinking of something along the lines of

    Ilias > Hughes
    Butcher > Barnett
    Clark > Grant
    Fermor > Ipap

    Leaves me 9 trades

Would prefer Moses over Hughes so could possibly wait a week on the trades and see what happens

Barnett and Moses could come straight in next week for Ilias and Butcher and then wait till Rd 17/18 for Ipap and Grant respectively

Pretty sure Milch has discussed diminishing returns factor of trade values further season goes on, in previous seasons. I'm of the mind now player rises of players I'm getting in are irrelevant bar maybe 1 max 2 players. Final team guns that play 17 or cashouts then use bank to get the Davey Koulas to Cook Grant

As to what you're talking about Mahoney been popular in on Discord last week now many with buyers remorse and I was saying not interested as not final 17 and having HOK in 17 irrelevant if only looking at fielding 8-10 players

Without someone confirming with access to official BEs I think Ipap on highest BE all season. Lost 40k odd and last 4 avg of 54. You want to get him 16 instead of 17 because maybe he scores an 80 up to you but I'll wait to 17

Made a slight edit saying it might be best to give it a week. Although if there is anyone that can hit 80 I’d say he is up there as one of them
