Can’t be too important to them considering he hasn’t played since round 8 and that’s even with the injury to VV he can’t get a look in

I hate when you're low on trades and you have the underwhelming low scorers and/or the injured but playing players in your team.

You could trade them but then when injuries hit, you can't replace them. As long as Tago and May are fit, I think they'll be there all season.

Hastings well I don't want to trade him because I like him but Edrick Lee outscored him so I think that's a sign to sell.

Don't get all the Ponga hate tbh, not much you can do about copping a concussion early in the game, those things happen. He's been unlucky with two other injury games this season too.

Seems to get an inordinate amount of hate for mine for "not trying hard enough", but a bit like Reece Walsh it's not his fault he's surrounded by a shower of shit in other positions.

Still averages 45 in the 80-minute games he's played this year & his career average at FB filtering for 70+ minutes is 54.4. If he drops to around 450k, which he could, he'll be excellent value as either WFB 3 (worst case) or 18th man/high upside loop option (best case).

    Pretty much this.

He will be 502k after this week, so priced at like 35 if I remember right.

Historically he's averaged 45, 51 and 43 in the run home the past three years (final 7 games is what I've counted, round 19-25 for 2019 and 2021, round 14-20 for 2020), and I think he's perfectly capable of hitting that.

I made the mistake of selling Teddy when he was cheap, I'm not going to do the same thing with Ponga unless he actually gets injured and misses time (from what I hear he'll be ok for next week and has a 7 day turnaround)

How annoying QLD changing the public holiday and being stuck at work and not able to watch the game.

After seeing a few of the smaller players getting hia issues from trying to tackle the big boppers is it because they tried to go high the reason. Surely a legs tackle done correctly would be a better tactic. I know going low can also result in hia's but that's because they usually get their head in the wrong place so they have to be taught the right technique. There is no way going high are you going to effectively tackle a guy 20-30 kg's heavier than you & these guys are usually over 6 foot so you can't dominate them in a tackle. I was always taught when tackling a bigger player that you go in for a legs tackle & then fall back with their weight which means they fall straight away.

And had the late game in Queensland last night? Surely you put that to an NSW game?

that was the strange thing. warriors up in redcliffe should have been the 2pm game.

even todays game should be a 3pm kickoff.

That injury all but gurantees Ponga will be in my team at some point this year and probably next. Will be way too cheap for what he can bring

To me Ponga lost his attractiveness as a fantasy player when he lost the gk. Sure he can knock out those monster games where he just carves up & plays brilliantly but he has a low floor as well. Also his perceived attitude is a problem i.e. he doesn't look interested...this started last year & has continued into this year & when he lifted in origin 1 & had a good game this just further stoked the uninterested tag.

Not too concerned with that. TPJ has like 3 stints for the dogs so can see him coming off, Ming pushing to prop and RFM 2rf/lock.
