Nicholls has shown what he can do and Havilli has been fantastic too and both can play decent minutes. I agree Peoples could take Moale's low minute role and kind of like Koala's role in his first year off the bench.

That was a trade WT2K and I talked about. Don't mind it even though Aitken's probably priced accordingly assuming he stays at SR (I figure he will). Averaged 40+ at CTR and 50+ at SR so far, which is reasonable to expect to continue.. unlike SRs playing CTR.

The 4 games they have played together he has scored 45,61,44,58

442k with a 20BE, decent job security and plays the first bye could be cheap backup half/bench player if needed and sit at 18th man (Could be good for a loop too)

Like Rabbit said he'd do, I have him in the edge position. Just because he has CTR available doesn't mean he's not worth it if you don't play him there. He's 700K for a reason. 44 last game in 53 minutes, was on track for a quality scoring game with base stats.

Hypothetically speaking if Kiraz were named at ctr next week, would he receive dpp afterwards ?

I've heard you say that before and been meaning to ask why? You can only captain one of them of course. I assume there's a couple of reasons.

1. Captaincy options as well as having a high ceiling, have a high floor, you don't want to waste trades over the byes getting players that could put up a dud score. Targeting forwards and halves seems the go here. You could spend three trades on three duds scoring 60 combined. Or you could spend one trade on a gun giving 60.

2. Given the high ceiling of captaincy options, if you pick the wrong captain, at least owning that player goes some way to mitigating the damage.

Anything else?

Been on my hitlist too, but want to see another good game first.

I think he’ll be lucky to be in the 17 when Murray, Sele and Nicholls play, all possibly back next week. Which might be a good think. Got more use for a loop than a 15pts per game bench player

Firmly on the watch list for me. After weeks of trash if he can bounce back with another decent game I'll grab him <500k next week

Yes. Based on previous season decisions if viewed as long term placement in position they've given before

Still considering Aitken, but I think Robson will get the nod for me, as Randall will be out of my squad next round and not keen on running with only Starling.

You have pretty much nailed it. At worst they are probably good for a 40 odd but with right circumstances could put up a banner and outscore 3 or 4 crappy options combined

You don't want all the hard work of bye planning to be undone because Robson dives over for a try

Yeah I'm thinking Robson in first from a penny pinching standpoint. 30 BE vs. Aitken's 45. Robbo vs. Storm though so mightn't get the bulk tackles I always expected MIDs would get vs. Storm but rarely do

Just chilling until the first game

Walsh I thought he would average more, bit like RTS in ways and in ways would rather move May back to WFB. Would also prefer to play the others on the bench

Sexton as mentioned above but if he can return to some form there is value there and in ways the most stable but form dependent
Seems an upgrade on Ilias who is performing that role now for the team, though the latter is looking better in recent weeks

Butcher the most upside I feel and DPP is very handy as covers 5 spots, plays the first bye and just needs solid minutes 60 on the field to score well enough
Though can get moved around to fill in and lacks attacking stats so heavily reliant on game time to get those base stats
So heavily role dependent in a team that loves a forward shuffle
