Has there been any news on Mann? Ideally still think he has more to give and want to hold, but would be good to have something definitive.

I thought it was reported that he rolled his ankle during training and expected to miss 3-4 weeks?

Listed as ankle Rd 13 in the casualty ward (Knights don't play 13 though).

    Fantasy is fine as is.

Try EPL Fantasy. No TLT. No Rolling lock out. Player prices can rise/fall every day by 0.1 (100k, 0.3+/- per game week) based on buying and selling of fantasy population. When you make a trade that's it. No reversals

Might've been a Barry Toohey tweet now that I think about it. Had to trade him for the community team last minute, so kinda stopped paying attention.

    Yeah no thanks.

I remember playing DT back in 2010 and 2011, and I don't miss not being able to reverse trades

    that sounds kind of fun.

anyway i mentioned it last week or so, but i'm convinced NRL Fantasy will be wrapped up as soon as whatever current contracts are in place end and NRL will just officially partner/push Supercoach. Sad.

Right, DiFi and Mann out then. Will hold Jones and see what happens, worst case he's an easy swap to Elliott/Graham next week.

Any thoughts on trade ins for DiFi and Mann?

Think I'm pretty set on DiFi -> Crichton. Who is the best option out of: Lolo, Aitken, Klemmer, Jackson, TPJ, Cotter.

It's probably between Lolo and Aitken realistically? Have already sold Lolo which makes me hesitate.

Think I'ma get on the TPJ rollercoaster. If May is out, he'll become Robson.

I think it's fair enough to sell him, wouldn't advise against it, but also fine to wait and see.

With a BE of 14 worst case he could still pick up a few mins on the bench and get another price rise or two. Also the possibility that they continue to mix things up if they keep losing and he's the beneficiary of a few more starts.

I'd think assuming Mann/Sue are still out they line up:

    Saifiti
    Randall
    Klem
    Friz
    Fitz
    Barnett

    Utility
    Saifiti
    Thompson
    Jones

    Or is that wishful thinking?

    Been mucking around with options:
Need Hooker cover (as I sold Randall last week) - really frothing over Grant / Cook; but out of my price range.
    Options are:
Cotter - love the cut of his gib, a real goer, also DPP Hooker is the bonus ... but Qld will probably come a knockin'
Robson - similar price point, not as sexy, but no SOO
TPJ - DPP, offloads at will, sin-bin and suspension risk, noted thug, don't want thugs in my team
Grant - yes, but only leaves small coin for the 2nd trade-in, so no
Angus - nice price, proven fantasy gun, probably gets the SOO tap on the shoulder,
Teddy - great price, is on the way up, I already have plenty of WFBs, SOO
Turbo - let's see how he goes for 1 game first, SOO on the horizon
Elliot - DPP, tasty price, proven fantasy pedigree, although not really a gun, Stickey factor

BroJo + Fermor > Cotter + Elliot it is.
Cover, Rd. 13, DPP players who are still making coin.
Hopefully Qld goes with their traditional big-bopper middles strategy and Maguire as the proven 'grub' to harden up their pack, thus leaving Cotter and his beautiful mullet alone.

That would be disappointing. I guess the recent staff turnover and tweets point towards the direction of the NRL not caring too much about its own Fantasy product. They only ever talk about SuperCoach during games.

I've tried to play SuperCoach on and off over the years and every time I get bored and stop playing. The UI is beyond terrible, the scoring system is a bit much, and the way the pricing works annoys me. The risk/reward is minimised. It's just a simpler more casual version of fantasy. Would probably stop all together rather than play SuperCoach every year.

I've held Lolo from the start, no complaints from me. No SOO, absolute JS and getting back to his rampaging best with the new crop of Cowboys forwards easing the pressure off him.
I reckon he's due a meat-pie and big score soon - even though my Knights are in the firing line, it could be this round.

even before SC introduced it this year, you could still do the following:

    Let's take three players, A, B and C.

    * Assume that you own players A and B, and want to buy player C.
    * Also assume that player C plays before players A and B

What you can do, is trade A to C, then after C has locked out (but before either A and B lock out), you can trade B to A, which would then update the trade as if you had traded B to C initially and not cost you an extra trade to do it.

It seemingly isn't a feature in fantasy, but it should be IMO

Haven't been able to do this in fantasy for almost 10 years I think.
