That would be ideal, play him for the 2nd bye, extra four trade out to gun

Injury history has to be considered there.

In 11 games last season, he had early HIAs in 3 games and missed most of the season from it.

    We are not the same

Does anyone have a better option in their 18-21 than King? Assume anyone who owns him is playing him anyway.

If they do their team must be absolutely loaded, I've got four cheap outside backs in my 18-21 (Lee, Koula, Vailea, Billy)

Everyone knows the amount of sound advice offered by yourself over the years, you are in my book the original POD champ with the max hooker strat.

Just do you mate, you are a gun and there's a good reason for it

Mate I appreciate the nice comments but it's like anything in life and not a contest
Anyone who has met me at the meet ups knows I am not chasing glory, just to have fun and perhaps get better and share in the experience
There is a lot to learn in real life from this pretend game we have invested part of our lives in
Perhaps that is why some things are said to help others, bounce ideas while others are lost in written context

But people change, look at the flavour of the week Jackson Hastings

My 4 considerations to leave out this week are Randall, King (won't now obviously), Tuilagi, Schneider. Was a realistic consideration to not play him this week. All are good for about 45 points. King's highest score the last 5 weeks has been 47.

I'll hold my hands up here - maybe I dont know how to 'fantasy' any more. I don't understand the multiple posts of trading him out. EDG is a rough position this year. He plays 13. Perfectly playable imo.

Now he'll score 19 and I'll look silly. I've planted my flag anyway

    Edit- re Nanai

I've been rubbish at fantasy for years but I'm holding until 13. There isn't enough good options for me to be getting rid of a playable option

Mann to Hastings and Randall to Jazz do seem like logical trades. Frees up over 150k for similar scores and an extra rd 13 player.
BUT Randall to Talakai is another option. I keep telling myself the Talakai ship has sailed but Sharks have such a good draw coming up and the ctr dual is hard to ignore.
I know people refused to jump on Turbo last year and it really hurt them. Is not jumping on Talakai gonna be the same thing?

    Thankyou, finally some criticism
I happy to receive this, no need for cotton wool
It helps me improve as we all can't all be perfect

Yes I have chosen to go subgun pod my entire team and was waiting to upgrade the front 5 after the first bye
It was a calculated gamble along with my centres after a crap start and if I was going to trade out a couple underperforming guns it would get me 4 playable tier down cash generators with upside with the idea to bring in later

I just looked at the 400-600 priced forwards who would probably play the first bye and were on the up
Then using cows they would be come guns after the this

Not all worked out perfect like Cotter, and I have traded heavy to get this but Mahoney/Fifita/Taumalolo was a rough start
Mahoney became May before he lost cash, and bought Mahoney back at a 100k discount while riding Mays score/$$ up

The point is you can chase and trade in the biggest scorers from the previous round and justify it all you want
But predicting and getting their points/$$$ before that is the game
Otherwise you are forever trading sideways until you fade away in the second half of the season

I chose not to go for a top dollar gun and questionable bottom priced dollar cow each double trade
If I did that I would have 4 guns and 4 red dots with no way out of it until another questionable cow turned up
Its the nature this year unfortunately

The lack of base price cows this year is why I'm turning to cut price keepers instead of the top options. Teddy last week for a touch over 600k? Don't mind if I do

Anyone here has any thoughts on Souths & Cwalker turning things around. He is cheap at 435k.

robelgordo wrote:Anyone got Wade Graham plans? With the lower scoring this season he's now priced at 33-ish. Historically a mid-40s average. Nikora is averaging 47, Wilton is averaging 50. I'll be very tempted if he gets into the starting side, 1hr before kickoff. Or whenever he eventually does.

Was all over him preseason so don't see any reason not to grab him next week after a hit out

Ideally be a straight swap for Jones as he loses his spot

Feels a little like Turbo where he historically scores well above price but scares everyone off with injury history. Obviously doesn't have the ceiling but could make a bit of cash leading into the byes

    Trading for points or cash???

Arrow and Wilton to Grant and Hastings
    or
Arrow and A Fifita to Tevaga and Hastings

I'm thinking Grant and just leaving Jaz for now.
