Just having a squizzey at Joey Manu to shore up a centre/fullback cover plays round 13 - what could possibly go wrong.

TPJ maybe. Those offloads are hard to ignore. Then Clifford to Lolo next week. A couple of rd 13 guns

Did I miss anything regarding Edrick? He's no gun, but at $240k with seemingly better job security than Koula I thought people would be all over him? Only needs to average 28 to make $150k, which can be done based on his 70+ minute 2019/2020 averages. Lucky first couple of games and that money can be made rather quickly. Bit of a gamble of course, but so is Koula.

I'm riding the Lee train anyway, hope he makes some coin.

Same. Worse case scenario Ilias/Walters hits 50 which is probably their ceiling, give or take, and you miss out on 13 points.

    37 is the safer option

Does that make two of us? 😜

Question is do they go with the old guard in Lee at 30 or Young at 20 when he’s fit again.
    Worth a gamble I guess

Missed our weekend away that we had planned last week as a result.
Tomorrow we regain our freedom, just in time for my birthday on Saturday, which we are celebrating at Crowded House at A day on the green at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral.
No horses or sweet caroline, but there’s sure to be some great songs from a great band. I hope they delve into a bit of the split enz era, for those who can remember that far back.

Me too, mate. The boy tested positive on Saturday so we had to scrap a week away up the coast. Glorious times in which we live. Wife tested positive yesterday so I guess the cycle restarts now? The rest of you guys avoided it?

Enjoy your birthday, cob, hope it's an absolute belter.

Not glamorous, butI think he's a perfectly good buy as long as you can stash him in EMG. As you say, he's a clear 10 points underpriced based on the last few years averages.

Been tossing up him vs Koula all week. Lee better JS, Koula dual and probably higher upside. Have gone Koula at this stage but might still reverse to Lee.

Do you take Nanai's 37, or loop in Taaffe/Coates/Koula?

    Gotta take the 37, right?

Me three. Daughter tested positive Wednesday. Thankfully have beer and football. I guess it’s likely one of the rest of us tests positive on day 6 and we rinse and repeat.

At least I don’t have to worry about whether to loop Nanai’s score.

It appears Payten has come to the realisation his best player needs to be on the field when a game is there for the taking.

Nanai sell seems ok atm for trades it allowed me. He could be good hold though if cuts out demerits but 41 in 6 games is 14pt avg a game and if take out Dogs and Broncos games where only 5 across both he avg -18pts the other 4 games

Is there a 3rd option to find a better WFB3? Have you been playing Will Smith?

I must admit I have toyed with the idea of taking the gamble have all day to ponder it, it could pay off. Could also hold and double trade both he and Nanai next week.

I've been playing Will Smith since R2 with Russell's injury, figuring it wasn't really worthwhile to spend on a wfb given how flaky the position is, I might've been wrong.

This is my team (at full strength, obviously Haas is suspended)

    Randall
    Haas Ipap Mann
    Fifi Nanai
    Cleary Moses
    Tago Penis
    Papy Crichton WSmith

    Ming Schneider Jones Ilias

    Thompson AFifita Koula Vailea

Koula's DPP is probably a big plus

I hope you enjoyed my preview mate. I’m just getting started mate though I may not have much voice left by time C Cleary plays tonight. Tbh I’ll probs tire myself out then be exhausted for a long draining arvo and night with such a busy busy busy shift at work tomorrow one of the busiest days of the year!
