Tigers play the Warriors which currently is winnable, do you drop Garner if you win?
Who is better off the bench?

    Just some thoughts

    Agree on all of this.

Tuilagi has played one good half out of 3.5 halves of football. If you missed the first half of round 1 youd wonder how he got picked

Garner has one good half this week and could easily hold the starting spot for another week.

A lot rides on whether they win or lose the game too

Its a close call because neither player is an obvious choice for the starting spot, imo

Pretty sure he had a back injury before rnd 1. Missed trial(s)? because of it.

May be building up mins week on week.

If you have a loop option, you could play Nanai at 18. I would expect Thompson to be more consistent in scoring, Nanai could score significantly more or less than him.
Issue is I think come next week Daniel Saifiti gets 55mins and Jacob gets 45mins. That just leaves 60mins between Thompson and Matt Croker/Sue.

Can some stats from Jumpin Marlin or Rhino show if 2022 has seen the use of the word 'minutes' increase significantly on the forum ?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

If you want to go down a rabbit hole, you should try clicking on a team tracker like I did for the first time
Bullemor and Paulo are very popular on those (As the ownership shows)

Thoughts on selling Ilias to Taylan May vs waiting a week?

Ilias seems shit but so did Averillo last year, meanwhile Taylan May has 6-8 weeks to prove himself, and by the time To'o is back, it's almost Origin time anyway.

Gut feel is "minutes" has always been a popular word on here. Often in the vicinity of "for fuck's sake, Des".

He could do a charlie staines 2020 though? 6 tries, 63 average
Or mature into a 2021 premiership winning tryscoring winger not named To'o as well where he scored 14 tries but averaged 23

It's not a sure thing being a winger, if you can't bust 1000 tackles and eat metres like Nofo/to'o/rapana

Ilias could just as likely make one try assist a forced drop out, a couple tackle breaks and 200km in a game too and average 40
It's not completely out of the ordinary

    My team is:

    Randall
    Haas Arrow J. King
    Fifita Nanai
    Mann Schneider
    Tago Penisini
    Teddy Pap S. Crichton

    Hynes M. King Bullemor Grant
    Billy Smith Ilias Tuilagi Koula

    I have 168k spare:

My thoughts are maybe Bullemor to Starling.

Then do we think Ilias is still a hold or is it worth selling to a guy like Leo Thompson?

Thoughts would be aappreciated please I’m concerned about my cash gen. Other dilemma will be how to get Cleary in a few weeks time too.

Wow I have some issues in my team. How would you prioritise these trade outs? Stefano, Amone, Ilias, Bullemore, Coates, Tuilagi.

I'm leaning towards trading Stefano and Amone for Leo and Starling and banking the 200k cash for future Cleary/Haas funds

At this stage it seems like those 2 are the best cash cows available. Hetherington is a interesting option I don't think I have the balls though 🤔

I would take May over Thompson, but otherwise bad trades. Bully and Tuilagi can both wait a week, and I think Coates is a definite hold, you just have to play the average with him and loop when you can

Posting this from a nrlsctalk post

This news is around as of 5:00 or so. From the SuperCoach news hub.

Penrith halfback Nathan Cleary is good to go and pushing to return a week earlier than planned against Newcastle on Saturday.

The decision to play or rest another week sits with his father and coach Ivan Cleary.
Coach Cleary could opt for the more cautious approach and stick to the plan of bringing Nathan back for the grand final rematch against the Rabbitohs in round four.

But such is the playmaker’s readiness and his efforts at training the Panthers’ coaching staff are prepared to give the NSW halfback up until Friday to make a final call.

Not sure, Amone will never get a good KM base with Benny Hunt, Ilias can with Cody

Amone spent a stupid amount of time at dummy half, I noticed last week. No chance to do anything in space

Thinking of going Taumalolo + B Smith -> Tago + Hetherington

    Leaves me running out:

    Randall
    MKing Hetherington AFB
    Nanai Fifita(C)
    Mann Schneider
    Crichton Timoko
    Teddy Hynes(VC) Pappy

    Bullemor Tago JKing Grant (Loop)
    Thompson Illias Walters Wilton

Running very light with Grant and Wilton out this week.
Little bit reluctant to sell Taumalolo but don't think he can justify his price on current form and minutes.

    Thoughts?
