Quick question on emergencies. Once an emergency has played, is that particular emergency number locked in? i.e. I won't be able to shift up or down?

Correct... but you can move players around them.

Trades will be so important this year mate. I would be reluctant to trade green dots after round 1.

    Give Ilias another go.

Wolfie I’d probs go A like Marlin said. Fermor could score a meat pie this week.

I think they both deserve another look trades gonna be vital in a Covid affected year use them very wisely.

In saying that I don’t mind B. Yeo looking very good.

I agree mate, patience is crucial I just worry tuilagi could be the one that got away this year with considerable more upside to ilias imo

Would be spending 1 trade and leaving 2k itb

Got fomo on Haas too but a sneaky option is McInnes. In reserves this week so wouldn't surprise me if he's back next week and hopefully churning out 80 minutes again (maybe limited minutes this week if he's fit)

So I'm skipping Haas for now and doubling down on Reed cherry

One is 280K and sitting on the bench, the other is 350K and playing 80 on the edge of what many predict to be a top 4 side this year.

Ive been thinking Russell>Tago seems a no brainer, but I already have Burton and Aitken at centre and Critter backing up as a dual. I guess it can never hurt to have centre coverage. I can also turn Tapine into Grant, but I am not sure this isn’t as sideways as some might think, completely dependent on Tapine’s minutes going forward.

It’s a bit taboo on here but illias didn’t look to have much scoring upside in the charity shield or in the broncos game. I’d hit the trigger on him to one of the clearer cows like tuilagi if it was me

What I will say is that when factoring in the 150k for a successful cow trade is that ideally it’s 150k more than what the player you trade out will make. I see Iliad as a real slow burning 50-100k. While tuilagi playing 70 will be roughly scoring 40 and will likely hit the 500k mark so a good bet to be worth it, be usable in your 17, and make cash faster

I have Tuilagi, he scored 8 points second half, I wouldn't sweat him too much, he is 327K he won't go up much for next round, wait and see 1 more round and bring him in for 350k

Think thats a fair point. There are a couple of scenarios for him

    - match fitness will improve and hence output over longer periods.

    - the first half against the storm was a bit of an anomoly and he will continue to get spelled anyway. Seyfarth is a ~capable edge.

I would focus more on the rookie capable of scoring 30 points in a half, who is still getting match fit.

Have Haas and Dfifi. Captained Dfifi last week and will captain again this week - not going to chase last week's scores.

Anyone trading in MKing? I didn't because 'dont buy bench forwards' was a rule I really liked the sound of.

But I've Amone and Illias burning a hole in my pocket and he did look busy.

But he's a bench prop. I don't want to buy those.

    Anyone else struggling?

If I wait a week he will most likely become out of reach, which is why I’m considering pulling the trigger

My point is he could wait 1 week and see if Ilias is a dud, and Tuilagi is worth trading Ilias away for at this stage. I own both players and I am not yet convinced by either, but trades are paramount this season (aren't they always?).
