With 3 red dots & only 23k bank which limits options then desparate times call for desparate measures. I wish there was a trade boost in the early rounds like sc & vsdt because I'd sell S. Walker as well:

I predict he'll never be fantasy relevant. I didn't watch but on podcast I listened to this morning they said he had hands on hips again

Lawton could be a really good pick up at some point, scored a -1 due to HIA

I'm not seeing the upside for Tago. He made 29 tackles last week and averaged around a dozen last year in reserve grade.

Similar to a few others here, I wouldn't mind getting Tago in. Tricky as I'd like to see some of the trade options again (Fermor/Lolo/Clark), and I was happy with JTB's performance prior to his injury, and 1-2 weeks is usually a hold.

I think I'll end up taking a look at Illias' score, and if it's up around 40 I won't trade. Another 20 odd from him probably makes it worth doing JTB to Tago, and pushing Burton up to half. Likely get's me another 20 points this round, as well as CTR cover going forward, and whatever cash Tago generates.

Other option is Fermor to Tago to build the bank up a bit for when Cleary is back.

How safe do we think Fletcher Baker is at the Chooks?

If he can keep getting 30 mins a game, he has some money to make, as his PPM was pretty good in round 1 (34 in 32 mins, all in base), but not sure if Radley's HIA affected that.

The reason I'm even looking at him is that he's probably the only cheapie I can get that would free up enough money to get Grant in for Cheese, the only other potential method would be to get Wishart and hold him as a handcuff for Grant, but that's a bit risky.

I've screwed myself with only Cook as my genuine captain option. With the dud cows on offer, I'm wondering if Yeo could be a left wing captain option moving forward.....

Payten comments. Lolo owners feel a bit better.

JTB - could be anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks. pain tolerance and mobility main issues.
Gilbert - forced his way into starting team. in the best 3 cows players in last two games.
Lolo - limited prep, will be better for the run. expect him to be playing longer in first and second stint.
Neame - excited to see him rip in etc.
Cotter - 50/50
