Hi bro great team post but I noticed you only have 1 hooker in Randall. What's the plan.

Fantasy really said, "Lets have heaps of great value picks, but lets make them all centres"...

i feel like I cant just pick 2 cheap guys this year and I have to go with at least 1 of Bird, Aitken, or Burton.

Paix is hard to judge, will have to be a gut feel selection. There will be a hooker on the bench either way. If paix does start i doubt he plays huge mins, he just doesnt have the stamina for it yet

I dont think ill be picking him, but i guess it depends on what TLT throws up

Job security the biggest worry for Paix.

I am leaning towards Paix in my team over Amone ATM. Surely there is more points potential in a starting HOK (even if he plays 60) than a starting 5/8 who is not the primary half. Both teams will be down the bottom again, so attacking stats won't be great, but at least there is some comfort in base stats coming from Paix and tackles through the middle.

On a side note, wouldn't it be hilarious if Randall doesn't get picked. Goodbye to all off our team setups.

That's what I'm doing picking Paix if he starts to go with Randall & hopefully move to Grant or B. Smith asap.

MS great post mate, encouraged me to look at a few of your options I'd dismissed.

One thing though you may have missed: in an interview with TK, Joliffe revealed that Brimson has a great kicking game and he and Sexton would likely share the load. He didn't say 50/50 of course, but he did say they're happy to have options on both sides of the park. Could be like the Tigers last year with Douehi and Brooks splitting and getting 250 each.

SOS playing right side (left boot) with Luai on the left. Wouldnt make sense to trial like this is Cleary wasnt gonna be good to go for rnd 1 (or at least very close to it).. or am i overthinking this?

Luai is a lefty who plays left side. Would be weirder if they moved him to accommodate SOS for a trial

I feel like all three are keepers and offer value, but seems too unbalanced to have them all. Even 2 looks a bit sketchy. Especially with the cheaper options.

If Cleary isnt available round 1, Manly could put 40 points on them.

Not sure you would want Crichton, Tago and Jennings in your team early without Cleary.

This is the way I feel as well. Probably a better option than Clark even if he scores less points

I just really don't like any of them outside of Randall
