Who is likely to be Titans #1 hooker this season? Is it going to be Booth?

Should all run the same where squads will be wiped once the site goes live but prices are all updated.
This years code is let the magic begin

    1. Go to fantasy.nrl.com

    2. Scroll to bottom where you can see "FOLLOW NRL FANTASY"
    3. Click the text roughly 15 times
    4. Text will be replaced by an input box
    5. Type let the magic begin and hit enter

    6. Note: Some devices may require the page to be refreshed before it loads the login screen

Having a look in the rules section all the rumoured changes appeared to be updated except for TBs which are still 3 points

Also mentions top 1000 per round get a Doordash voucher Laughing

Booth on Dev contract (as is Tyrell Sloan at Dragons)

Was wondering why they weren’t in the game

    First attempt is awful

Going to have to do some serious digging into cheapies

    First thoughts on new scoring:

Kicking halves now obviously 5-10 points overpriced.

Offload change benefits all offloaders but particularly the "clean" offloaders like Taupau and Welch rather than those who throw it anywhere a la Lodge/Tevaga.

TBs worth two will drag down the scoring of a lot of gun forwards but eg. Jurbo with 2 points per TB scores the same as Jurbo with 3 points per TB. Year of the plodder?

    On iPhone.  Any tips??

Via direct route I loop through beginning screen to log in screen which gives a screen saying click here to see 2021 winners.  Which takes me to start. I haven’t paid for coach feature, so I assume that may stop the direct route?

I think it's only working on the website. Got straight in on laptop.

Looking at Cleary being significantly underpriced, he has obviously already been discounted for the change.

Oh, ok. I haven't looked that closely at it. Same with Reynolds/Moses/etc?

PS why would that make him underpriced rather than correctly priced?

I think Cleary might still be a must have

Averages 20 points a game better than the 3rd best player. And I trust Cleary to sustain his scoring more than I trust Trbo.

Underpriced from his average last season. Was expecting them to Nerf him with a high price point.

He's priced at 84, and with the new scoring I don't see that as being underpriced.

He is still going to bust out a tonne of banners.

Moses is who I think I'll avoid. He relies on bulk kick metres for points more than Cleary/DCE do. Although price reflects that so maybe I'll end up tempted

    Last year he averaged 92.8

Reduce kicking points to 30m, TBs to 2, and make offloads 3 points (unable to distinguish between hand/ball at the moment) then his average becomes 82

Priced at 84, so if he gets 2 points a week net from accurate offloads, getting out of ingoal, and conceding few 6-agains and other scoring changes. Then that would make him accurately priced.

So question becomes if he regresses, maintains or improves on last years stats.

I think he is more likely to maintain that level than Turbo is.

I can’t access NRL fantasy despite it saying it’s open. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it?

    Thanks!

Cleary certainly seems like a no-brainer selection again - his biggest attribute for mine is simply his ability to score healthily in every metric, and he's priced appropriately.
So, that just leaves how to spend $8.35mil on 29 players.

Turbo was the closest to God mode that I think I've ever seen a player in the NRL, I certainly wouldn't back a guy to maintain or better a 3.5 try involvements (T & TA) per game average - despite how unstoppable he seemed last season.

Question is will Cleary be fit by round 1 or won’t he back til like round 3.

I certainly myself feel Cleary is more must have and I could just keep the C on him and not worry whereas I don’t think I could put the C on Turbo every week,

I like the look of Pap at 636k.

@PenrithPanthers CEO Brian Fletcher tells @1170sen Nathan Cleary is on track to play in Round 1 against Manly. Also says he expects the squad to be fully vaccinated by then - two unvaccinated players will take Novavax early in the new year. https://twitter.com/wwpenrith/status/1473408793920761858?t=KBanALgFQMdJSqTPfteXSQ&s=19
