I’m 845 with AFB, Curran, Walsh, Fifita. I don’t think that will see my climb to much higher.

Youve had a great year mate , well done - think with those left you will rise a few ranks.

Tommy Turbos run of form has been the best I've ever seen a player play, to this date I thought Haynes run of form was going to be untouchable but Tommys has been better

Cheers mate, has been good this year, was lucky to make the right calls early, and didn’t make too many bad ones. This is the first year I’ve tried to plan ahead a bit. With out being wedded to much to those plans.

Also. Trying to make single trades where possible instead of rushing with double trades. Helped me conserve trades, avoid a few flavour of week picks, but allowed me to trade most weekends, so my team didn’t stagnant. That seemed to have helped

    Who wins:

    Turbo:
    Vs
Pearce, Ponga, Haas, Verrils, Lolo, Wilton

Yep, that sorry sextet of crap combined for 144 points between them (Haas is excused). Couldn’t even match one Trbo. Hopes of ending with a green arrow dashed.

I couldn't understand why you did that trade at the time but it's easy to say in retrospect of course

At the time I saw him as a player scoring well over his historical long term average on the back of a long hot streak with an injury history. I anticipated he would get rested a few times over the origin period (got that part right) and that he would regress to around a 50-60 average once he stopped scoring 2 tries per game(it actually went the opposite way)

Lesson learnt is to not try to be too smart and guess the end of a hot streak, it's best to just ride the wave

Tommy has had better tries, try assists, linebreaks and linebreak assists per game. Hayne had him beaten on tbs. Hayne's hot streak also only lasted from Round 19-Grand final (12 games) Tommy has been on fire since round 6.

I don't think we will ever see anything like it again

At what point is no longer a hot streak and just normal?

What’s gonna change next year to stop it?
The cowboys should be dropped from the comp next year for allowing that try last night 😂

It's for nought if he can't get them past the Storm. Coincidentally Hayne and Barba also had stellar seasons but were stopped by the Storm.

I think once we settle into a normal home and away comp again it narrows the gap between good and bad teams. Plus defense is always slower than attack to adjust to rule changes like v’landys ball.

Give it 2-3 seasons and I think it’ll be a bit more competitive again.

As an example, last night the Cowboys were not just mainly inexperienced kids, they were kids that have barely played lower and youth grades due to those comps being mainly suspended COVID with over the last two years

Well done mate, looks like you've pretty well wrapped up the Raiders league with that monster score from captain turbo. Hopefully I can scratch my way up to 2nd behind you today.

Hoping Titans 11+, because otherwise the 2021 season can be summed up as: “just like the 2020 season expect Manly and Canberra swapped”

Expect they win by 8 or something so everyone feels like a big loser. That would seem fitting.

Dropped down to 4900th but have five in this one so hopefully break back into the top 4000.

Hasn't been a great last few weeks of the season for ol' filth! Laughing

I was thinking Titans up by 10 and a sideline conversion after the siren. Shaves the outside upright and devastation sweeps over the stadium.

Meanwhile there's riots celebrations in the streets of Cronulla cheer
