    1.    Someone asked if Bellyache would rest Finucane because he is leaving next year. The answer is definitely not! Finucane is head honcho in that pack. Such a great asset to the team and one I am very upset who is leaving. Look at Tino, bloke was already out the door, but he was huge to our success last year and played every game.

    2.    That Fox piece on Hughes is literally some guy putting 2 and 2 together. Hughes complained of calf pain last week, Cooper Johns on bench… = Hughes in doubt. No direct quotes, it is all Storm may, Bellamy may… Nothing in it, move on!

    3.    Hynes is losing value and dropping scores with his changing positions around the field. Even if he plays in the halves this week Munster will be the chief on the field. Hynes is a sell to Cleary this week and the C goes straight on him. If he doesn’t play, Schuster fills in at half and I am giving the VC to Ponga because he will run rings around the Broncos edges tonight.

    I hear you regarding Hynes and tossing up if CHN or Hynes goes. Problem for myself is selling Hynes only leaves me with Manu, Ted and Walsh as WFB, so might be handcuffed into keeping him.

    Last trade(there’s pretty much no chance I can get Cleary back in)

    TU: Savage to Ponga
    TD: Save the trade and play Hetherington or Verrills

    If you can end up with 21 green dots and Cleary I think it's worth pulling the trigger

    EDIT: You will need a ton of luck in the run home but I'd rather roll the dice and have a shot instead of limping home to finish 100th

    I don’t think I’m a shot of winning. Currently sitting just in side top 200 after three shit weeks. A top 80 finish is my target.

    Niukore's mins off the bench don't look that great with RCG out for a month

    See if Arthur shifts Ipap to mid and perhaps finds another edge

    Would love some news on Fog. If he plays I want to trade Watson to Grant, but probably won't know tonight so I'll end up moving him to Doueihi on Sunday once we know if he's in or out.

    I think we have to bite the bullet and accept his time is up mate. Seems only an injury might see him get back in.

    Still toying with the best way to go. My ranked has dropped to around 1800 so whatever I do doesn't mean shit now but here's my 17 this week;

    Watson
    Haas Tolo IPap
    Crichton Fifita
    Trindall DCE
    Manu Bird
    Hynes Walsh Ted

    AFB CHN Burton Verrills

    Brailey Peach Laurie Fog

    3 trades and 65K. My two options now are;

    CHN - Blore
    Fog - Cleary

    Seems like a no brainer if he plays. Means Manu would have to shift down and Hynes as a backup, or next week use my last trade on Hynes to Ponga/Mitchell.

    My second option is to skip Cleary and add more depth. Still liking from what I posted yesterday;

    Fog - Ponga
    Laurie - Avo

    Gets rid of a red dot and at least I get some good depth for the last 5 weeks. Means CHN and Hynes probably stay or can trade one next week.

    Any thoughts good people, it's 50/50. Ponga and CHN playing before Cleary really fucks with everything. I could hold and play 17, but won't have the swing to do the Cleary trades next week.

    Thinking with the ranking, Cleary has to be the all in play. Could wait and trade Hynes to Cleary instead of CHN but Hynes' DPP more handy than CHN. But saying that, CHN might be more handy as a player than Hynes.

    Ponga. Less doubts about role and health. He's carrying an injury I reckon, but Pappy being eased in too. But, if playing Ponga will play 80 for a team wanting to make the finals. But both have massively high ceiling, and with five weeks to go, gut feeling as to which hits the ceiling more frequently.

    Thanks, that helps

    Team for this week with Ponga and Cleary/Grant joining

    Mahoney
    Haas, Lodge, Radley
    Fifita, Schuster
    Arey, Moses
    Burton, Olam
    Teddy, Ponga, Mitchell

    Cleary/Grant, Pappy, Walsh, Watson
    Verrills, Fog, Brailey, Wilton

    Fog becomes the one who doesn’t come in, so hoping he doesn’t play this week to make it easy cash wise

    People really trading out CHN? You gonna bring him back in next week if he starts? Or is this just a gambled trade?

    Everything that happens once, will keep happening for the rest of the season.

    In this specific instance, if its to get Cleary in, I can see value (Hynes out is the better option though)

    Probably worth being a little more conservative for a good finish in that case

    I got Cleary via Hynes... I am tossing up whether to hold on CHN or take a gambled pick for someone like Grant who is virtually 0% in the top 5000. Could really make a difference when someone with CHN (who has 93, 86 and 79 % ownership in the top 100, 1000 and 5000 respectively) may be playing a Verrills or Hetherington on the bench and I can play Grant instead, also gambling on the fact he can hold a 1+ppm playing 55 minutes a game... just some thinking.

    Possibly for a week but with a BE of 79, cutting might be the best idea regardless

    I won’t really need the money. More just a chance to hold trades and wait and see how Cleary goes for a week. Dunno, just an idea.

    Bringing in Cleary this week as insurance against a low score from Hynes. Need Ponga to lose 3k this week so I can trade Brailey to him next week.

    why are people trading fog out? is there any news or just forum speculation? yes i know theyre going good and sexton is doing well but any other reasoning?

    with CHN, Thompson and Hunt all out its tough for me to waste 2 trades when i only have 3 left but i like the sugestion of hunt and fog to cleary and blore. Originally i was thinking hunt and thompson to papi and friz. thoughts?
