I'm down to 3 trades so won't be making any trades hoping either Verrils or S. Crichton/Burton (depending who I start) who I'm looping can score 40+ points. Just a question who would you start at ctr:
    (a) Burton or
    (b) S. Crichton

I think I'll start whoever isn't marking Staggs which is (I don't know so please advise)

    Cheers.

Roosters v Panthers into Sea Eagles v Storm is a pretty tasty double, might head along to that one. You beaut.

Having just caught up on the morning's news, this may have been a tad hasty.

Assuming no changes to the norm, it will be

    Crichton v Farnworth
    Staggs v Burton

Brisbane will need to hold the ball for consecutive sets for that to be an issue.

I am half tempted to play Scritta and Burton in the centres in the impending cricket score they will put on the Broncos and the impending MT's Bird will get vs Captain Foi Foi Ta

I'm with you Aardvark, whether he's right or wrong, I really appreciate Mattnz's willingness to go against groupthink, offer a different p.o.v. of players and trades etc. whether or not you think Brown being offside should have resulted in a no try, Matt's effort to support his argument is a credit to him.

As I've replied to Aardvark, Matt, I applaud your willingness to state your case and argue - even against the crowd - I may not agree with some of your calls on here, but you are a great poster who offers a different p.o.v.

One example from 2018 and one from 2020. In NRL they appear to be much more frequent. Also a lot more EPL and NBA players. What about NFL? What about our A League?

Age doesn't really come into it. All professional sports are the same age, all get paid a truckload.

They were the first two that came to mind. If you google X sport scandal there are hundreds of them. NFL is so common they actually count the days since last player was arrested with the all time record being 64 days without arrest and an average of 1 arrest every 7 days. Just because you don't hear it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. https://www.nflarrest.com/arrest-o-meter.html

What a read. Whilst he’s a fucking idiot, the slapped who blew the whistle is trying just after her time on the limelight. She knew he was married yet she chose to do it and now after he cut her she’s gone for the tabloids and is clearly enjoying herself, the messages scream it.

I hope the poor wife is supported by her circle and API and that slimey bitch get what they deserve.

Crichton will be kicking goals wont he? Should get extra points thru conversations, but you'd think the Panthers will attack down Luai's side, so Burton might get more attacking opportunities

    Great points.

I'm no clearer at all now.

Since I only have Burton I will go Burton.

Will probably end up being a pretty easy call, but just in case:

TU: Verrills in the loop with Lucy
TD: Hetherington in the loop with Lucy

Fairly happy with Mahoneys 60 as a last minute gut feel trade. This is banking on Moses playing next week especially if Hynes finds himself on the bench or wing so we will see how it pans out. Really think they need Mitch out there though so I’m banking on him playing in what is essentially a 4 point game

I think he could play next week. They badly need him.

They haven’t fully locked up a top 4 spot yet either.
