Coach Neil Henry has named his team to take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs this weekend.

    William Zillman
    David Mead
    Nathan Davis
    Brian Kelly
    Anthony Don
    Tyrone Roberts
    Ash Taylor
    Ryan James
    Nathan Friend
    David Shillington
    Zeb Taia
    Chris McQueen
    Agnatius Paasi
    INTERCHANGE
    Daniel Mortimer
    Lachlan Burr
    Luke Douglas
    Eddy Pettybourne
    Leivaha Pulu
    Leva Li
    Shannon Walker
    Matt Srama
    Cameron Cullen

If that's the most likely T1 lineup then Taia and McQueen could both be looking at 80m.
James starting at prop. Paasi at lock, Burr would spell him I expect. Morts swapping with Friend leaving 2 props on the bench for FR rotation. ?

That's interesting with James at prop, could be tempting, he should see a lot more action if prop rather than outside second row like last year and he has a big motor, much bigger than shillington's so could see big mins in the front row. Also no Bird in at lock, you'd assume he is being rested after the all stars game (I remember him coming off with a bloodied cheek, might have broken something. Paasi back to bench when bird fit I guess.

Greg Bird will come in for Paasi.
I'd expect Centres to be Nene Macdonald and Josh Hoffman

Paasi would knock someone off the bench (burr?)

Didn't James have his best fantasy season playing prop? Or am I dreaming? Less time on the park could also mean less chance of headfuck penalties he is accustomed too

People are placing way to much faith that trial teams will translate to TLT

Even TLT itself is only about 90% accurate at predicting starting teams.

But trials like these vice a pretty good idea of how a coach is thinking

I think people are talking about these trials team lists and hypothesising what could potentially happen because it's fun more than anything else, it adds colour to the tapestry of nrl fantasy.

So Hoffman captain of the warriors and Friend captain of the Titans. Didn't except either of those to be honest!

Assuming a 130k player averages 30pts without much variation how long would he take to make 100k?

Hey, what do you guys think of A Reynolds? I have noticed his not in many teams I've seen. Is he an option instead of DCE to save some money? They have had similar points in the past

He's always been a solid option but DCE has the most upside of any gun this year without foran there.

There's a lot of concern about how competitive souths will be this year. And people think ARey's scores will suffer as a result.

If you think souths will do well this year then ARey is attractive. DCE still tops him for mine, but he is a solid alternative

Why do people think SST will get more minutes? won't he continue to share with Liu? Won't the extra minutes go to the Napa Guerra Evans Moa Aubs ?Frei etc?

There's a chance SST gets Cordner's 2nd row slot. And if he does, you ride that cowboy, and you ride him hard

Roosters WCC squad. Looks like Frei and Leuluai fighting for last bench spot with Mitchell as cover for an injury in the backs

    Mitchell Aubusson

    Joe Burgess

    Dale Copley

    Kane Evans

    Blake Ferguson

    Mitchell Frei

    Jake Friend

    Aidan Guerra

    Jackson Hastings

    Ian Henderson

    Shaun Kenny-Dowall

    Vincent Leuluai

    Isaac Liu

    Latrell Mitchell

    Sam Moa

    Dylan Napa

    Jayden Nikorima

    Sio Siua Taukeiaho

It's worth pointing out that there are 2 types of things.

    Things that are said
    and
    Things that actually happen.

Sometimes these things overlap, but not always. It's why people ate sceptical of Willie Mason having his best preseason ever

I'll put Frei or Leuluai in my team depending on who gets the final spot. 30 minutes a game should at least make some cash right because right now my 2RF is looking pretty skinny on money makers.
