Anyone else sell Avo after 2 or 3 rounds when he was scoring bad?

    Damn.

No. you were the only one

(PS people sold him not solely because he was scoring below expectations, but because he was out of the team with no real information on his return)

It was the same week Bird was suspended and my POD centre Scott was injured, so I sold him to Hampton. He generated some cash but got injured. I should have traded Averillo back in but that’s easy to say now, hindsight and all that.

17 trades and probably using 4.

Just listened to Bloke in a bar interview with Toby Rudolf. Fuck he seems like the best bloke. Just put out a 58 in 51 minutes against the Panthers too. Under 500k if he gets the minutes he might be half a chance at a averaging over 50 this year. Graham out now too, so might find himself picking up some more minutes if the new edge doesn't play 80.

Really though I mostly wanna froth the blokes in my team

17 trades holy shit that's mad

I've got 13 left, likely using 2-3 to bring in SJ, RTS, cashout

Walsh to FB, SOS back in to partner Kodi. RTS stays on the wing.

Looks like the less disruptive path

I recall you needed a centre with Avo and Bird missing that same week, but Barrett was pretty clear that he was only going to one week. That was the reason I held him, and that I thought he was/is one of the only dangerous players in that dogs team. Also I wasn't going to waste a trade on a centre when I didn't need to haha (because i had Roberts to fill in cheer lol!)

Anyway no way to have foreseen this kind of scoring from him. I held hoping for 35-40 avg scoring once he got going at 6.

I assume everyone will be all over Teig if he gets Graham’s edge spot for the next 4 weeks at least. Cracked 50 every time he has started there this year

Average of 57 playing 80 minutes on the edge in 4 games

That’s such a negative play from Brown it so. No 5th play playmaker. Kodi was lost at sea last week and SOS was dropped for that exact reason.

As a warriors fan, I’m praying Walsh goes in the halves and RTS at the back.

That Barrett statement may have come out later in the week. Around Team Lists when he wasn't named it took a couple of games to get information that he was injured and not dropped.

But yes i needed a CTR that week - and it started a big run of trading in guys who got injured/suspended/Zac Cini 1/2 weeks after I bought them

If Walsh is in the halves and RTS at FB who is the next winger to come in?

Kosi, Aitken, Montoya and ??? doesn’t sound too threatening.

Was in the usual coach's media posted mid week on the dogs site, i remember posting it here and suggesting others to just hold him (if you didnt need a ctr to field 17). Anyway, its not like he was a gun so trading him wasnt the wrong call.

If RTS on the wing is Brown's plan to win this year then the Warriors are no hope, Wingers dont win you premierships.

Is it time to rethink your/our opposition to an avocado trade in?

I am acutely aware that bringing him in now appears, on the surface, to be a massive knee jerk reaction to the guy that just scored two tries. However, he's been kicking for 500+ kick metres. He's dominating the playmaking. He's doing the goal kicking. That's MS gold right there. MS 101 if you will. Not even mentioning he's available at centre.

In my mind, selling one of my of my three overpriced centres to Averillo would be a 5-10 point per week upgrade, and gives me another bye round player. The only argument for not bringing him in that I can think of is that, if pretty much any other half comes in for Wakeham, we're fucked. I won't have the trades to fix it. Not an easy decision by any stretch.
