Hynes or Burton for me. Burton should rack up the kicking metres at the very least giving him a great base.
Brailey was the no-brainer up until about two weeks ago.

With Friz out trading in Fitz could have been the accidentally genius trade that gets you a top 50 finish. Go on son! Not sure if Simpkin --> Blore is worth it, destined to net 15 points forever after R13 pending injuries. I'll likely just go Simpkin to Verrills in anticipation for some big R14 moves

Just a thought, with Fitz getting two HIA's in the same game, does that affect his chances of lining up?  Still half keen on him.

Weren't we all supposed to have 17 green dots last round?

A very 2017-esque 16/788. Team looked good last week and had rectified a Rd5-8 slide (Pap, Playing 15-16, CTR &. Co.-related), but just about every player turned in a season-worst performance of 10-20pts below their average. James Roberts, the Topes' 5th highest scoring player - didn't even get to make an appearance. What the fuck happened?



Might take my team out into the back paddock and put a bullet in it.


Apologies for the semi-whinge post, but by god this year is a tough one to fathom; so many sucker punches from forced trades, trade outs coming good a week later, trying to be good and holding trades, not trading guns, taking limited risks (Starling was one - and that's been a bust) and bye planning going to hell.

Is conventional fantasy logic dead in the new era? Do we need to re-think the meta-strategy and how the game is played (obviously the 'stock your team with players who don't get injured and score tries' is a very appealing approach)?

I mean,  I expected Friz out this week anyway with origin.  But yeah very marginal trade at absolute best.  Don't mind the Verills trade if nothing else shows up,  how's he tracking?

On my trade out list would be Starling (pending Raiders team lists/other news) and Schuster (pending injuries)... the rest of my squad are either R13 or still very much playable R17 players/final team guns

Blore would only get one week starting though then back to bench when Lucy is back the week after.

Wouldn’t it be better to bring A. Kelly in? He seems to have better JS....

Also how many Round 17 players does everyone have currently and how many are you looking to get?
