Usually only if your captain plays the first game too I thought.
It's marginal, but it's a guaranteed player when there's a possibility that eg. both Cleary and Haas are out, or that just Haas is out but you can't move him from your 17 because he's locked.

Isn't he a Central Coast junior? Wish the Knights had got him.

I still don't understand this post R1, it shouldn't make a difference given you're always going to have 2 players locked out
FWIW I have Haas VC
I also have Haas. Your captain is just as likely to be a late out as your vice captain, I'd rather have it on the guy who I actually want points for

If players are being coached to hit around the head, wrap the ball up and get binned, then that's the coaches problem.
The data on concussion issues adds too much weight to the argument that the game's administration must make these changes to protect the players' welfare.
Simple medical science.
Entertainment argument won't stand up in litigation court.
They can still be tough without hitting the other players head - simples.
you're misunderstanding me, i'm not saying to ignore dangerous tackles for the sake of entertainment, i'd be more than happy to never see a head-high tackle again, I'm saying more thought needs to be placed into how to punish these dangerous tackles so that the balance between welfare and entertainment can be preserved, people are turning off because this knee-jerk idea is ruining the spectacle, there has to be a better way than this to attain the end-goal.

To be fair the knights adding their own flavour to the lack of entertainment value of this game

Ok, maybe I'm wrong then.
Although Brailey averages around 70, he should be a "safe" captain pick anyway. I wouldn't do it if I only had eg. Laurie in the first game.

Nice free interchange
Doesn't have to be an HIA - it's a free interchange for any reportable offence

“Come out charging” is the club mantra his year
Cowboys have got 2 lucky tries and a 3 set restart walk over try 2nd half but the knights are only in the game at all thanks to the 2 sin bins
Cowboys deserved winners and the knights looking at another season of mediocrity
I welcome the review of the club. Boys club that is in the dark ages in so many ways
