Really enjoyed the meetup last night. Great bunch of people. Even as a non owner of Teddy the live counting of his TB's was great to see.

I think this was the first Brisbane meeting apart from McDonald's carparks and karate dojo's. Great stuff.

As a Tupouniua owner he gives me the shits...before the game started I thought I bet he gets sin binned as he likes smashing people & that can go astray & sure enough it happened. In fact I'm stumped how he ended up on 31 points as he was on 10 at h/t & the 2nd half all he did was miss tackles & he hardly had the ball to get any attacking stats so I was thinking he would of scored under 20 points.

Lachlan Burr was unlucky and surely that’s not what the rule is trying to stop. Teddy was nearly on his knees and leaning forward. Burr’s tackle was conventional front on with arms. A low driving tackle would have been potentially worse.

Teddy coming straight back on with a not so subtle low five and cheeky grin not the best look either. Incidental contact like that should be addressed post match. He won’t get suspended and the team has been over-punished.

I was thinking about this nrl crackdown on high shots & I vaguely remember this article that came out a while ago that the nrl essentially in the future wanted all tackles to be below the waist. Of course everyone rubbished it as nonsense because how would they change players tackles but it looks likely now. And how Burr could get sin binned when Tedesco starts to fall down & hits Burr in the stomach with his head is just plain stupid.
