Didn’t actually think to look at his stats at 2nd row (brainfade). Average of 56 is fairly good at that price. Leaves some wiggle room to pick up a cheap Teddy as well.

    Thanks for the option mate

    A. If that happens, his price will still change based on a 60 point average.

    B. You have to account for whoever replaces him in the 17. Eg I have Papy, but I won't be getting a 0 for him this week, I'll be getting Reece Walsh's score (or Daine Laurie, if everyone is fit I'd have to make a choice). So depending on who else is in your team you'll be getting much more than 36 points a week from that WFB slot for the next 10 weeks.

    This.

For arguments sake, lets say you have Walsh as cover for Papy. I think a reasonable estimate for a rookie 80min half on an average team is 35 points. So you are getting 6 games from Papy (60ppg) and 3 games from Walsh (35ppg) for a total of 465 points or 46.5ppg over the 10 game period.

Now it's up to you to decide whether that's worth saving the trade.
Of course the other factor is whether you use Papy's cash to trade in another gun and the overall net gain that will bring.

Eh, Harris is scheduled to play as many games as the Rd 13 guys and Haas will still be one of the top MIDs playing 1 less game.

Still plenty of opportunities to add Rd 13 players in the meantime.

I’m flipping between him and Harris atm for my trade in but leaning TPJ

The money saved and Round 13 play is putting me over the line

Obviously Broncos suck but him and Haas are the only ones looking likely in that team atm

If he keeps up his average then he can be a keeper in your 14-17 by end of year or even a starter

Haha is it bad that my MIDs are now Haas, TPJ and Lodge? 😂

I am feeling super behind everyone lately. Points seem to be dropping every week and where everyone is trading in guns I am scraping for cows. Team on paper seems good, few peaked cows, few cows ready to make some cash yet no clue I can start making inroads on that rank! Team after going Moylan > Walsh:

    Brailey
    IPap Crichton Watson
    Schuster Fifita
    Cleary Fogarty
    Bird Roberts
    Teddy Turbo Laurie
    Turpin Simpkin Walker Walsh
    Leniu Uto Jensen Pappy

    168K 25(1) trades remaining, Rank 6819

Probably hold this trade and aim for Jensen + Turpin > Verrils + Gun next week?

WAG team is looking alright without cracking any big scores. Trades this week are SOS to Walsh and Isaako to Fififta with Cleary or Haas looking like a target next week.
    Her team looks like this;

    Brailey
    iPap Yeo Harris
    Schuster Fifita
    Munster Fogarty
    Bird Averillo
    Turbo Walsh Laurie

    Watson Simpkin A.Crichton Walker
    Lodge Utoi Pappy Tino

    24 trades left, 119K.

I have no issues with my pack it's my backs namely Roberts that need to be fixed but I can't afford Roberts to Hampton with 1 trade. I have Simonsson as well & if Tedesco is out he will come in for him & that's not too inspiring. But I also have Pappy & Momi as red dots.
I might trade out Pappy & Roberts, keep Simonsson as he has an achieveable b/e & keep Momi again with an achieveable b/e. So atm my trades are:
    Pappy out - To'o or C. Thompson in &
Roberts out - Hampton in (but it may be Opacic)

    What do you reckon.

Well... if Broncos do shit then they’ll rack up tackles. If Broncos do well they’ll get attacking stats? Win win Laughing

I don’t mind him as a 50avg scorer but don’t think he’ll be too 3 WFB by end of year - could be wrong though. He’s very involved in Panthers attack structures and racks up meters at the back

Haha it’s the blow outs I’m worried about. To be fair the Broncos last month has been pretty hectic so maybe there’s a chance they can keep them close if they can’t win

If you want player X who plays R13 and player Y who doesn't

Lets assume player X isn't a keeper and you'll trade him out after round 14 in the 4 trade round.

If you make the trade this week you'll get 7 scores from player X or 6 scores from player Y.
Closer you get to RT13 the more value the bye player gets.

Few other complicating factors like the price of the player coming in, what positions they cover and if player Y plays round 17 or if he's origin and misses both.

But in general, its better to get a 55 point player who misses R13 than a 45 point player who'll take the field.

I was going to taste some PJ but I think Barnett will average the same and TPJ has JS risk when Glenn returns

    Who would you pick:
    (a) To'o or
    (b) C. Thompson

Is To'o worth the extra 89k over C. Thompson

    Cheers

The way NRL is at the moment TPJ is one high tackle/shoulder charge away from 6 weeks on the sideline.

Overthinking about R13 just hurts my head.

It'll influence some of my decisions like getting Moses at a bottomed out price but I won't hold someone past their sell date or get a less than ideal keeper for the sake of it either.
