Yeah, Matterson was out for several weeks after being hit in the head with the ball, which you would have assumed wouldn't have done much.

Yep I think when Keary had his issues it was pretty innocuous looking contact that triggered it. Same with Hipgrave.

some of the way commentators carry on is actually dangerous... equating the force of contact with whether a player needs to go on/off, dismissing minor contact to the head as the game going soft, etc

Amazing trade for those that got on early, or later gambled on Matto being sidelined long-term.

Will be interesting to see if he displaces Lane when Matterson returns, has definitely earned a starting spot with amazing form.

lol they took 6 points of Tupouniua...as an owner I had a feeling they would watching the 2nd half. Scoring 40 in that game in context was pretty good when you look at the rest of the Roosters individual scores but in the context of fantasy 40 points is shite.

I know there is a lot of value around, but short term plan should be fixing MID. You can't be playing 2 of Alvaro/Leniu/Uto every week

I’d probably just play it safe this week mate. Don’t give ya self any unescessary headaches. Bringing in Simpkin might lose you 20-30 points but hopefully you can find a way to make those up next week with ya warchest?

Assuming Schuster dpp, you're still running one of Alvaro, Uto, or Leniu in the 13. Are you okay with that? Alvaro probs not too bad, but might lose a few minutes with McGuire? My five second read of it is build the bank for another mid next week (Haas).

Thanks guys, I know that's probably the smart play. I just see Moses as a good value play and round 13 play. I know the long term play is probably getting Simpkins then I can get Haas/Tohu next week or see how it pans out with Stefan starting and McGuire/Alvaro. Could still go Moses next week if it all works out. He won't get out of reach. If I go Simpkins, hopefully he works out for the long haul.

However it’s good to know he is back to his 80 minute role and fit. I’ll take that

that's probably close to his 80 minute floor. I'm looking at Riki>Tupouinua for ~15k next week

Would have liked to keep the points but as long as he has 80 mins he’ll score more most weeks

    Could happen.

Would’ve said no chance when he was filling in 1-2 weeks but as it goes to 4+ weeks could definitely see Lane on the interchange and playing in the middle a bit

Watching a couple of Simpkin highlight vids, he certainly looks the goods. What could go wrong......

David Fifita to score 2 tries against Manly paying $8 is very tempting.

I wouldn't over think it. It's a pretty safe pick and he'll make at least 20-30k this week.

Moses BE is 67 for MTB, but 73 for Milchy which I think will be closer to the mark. His price aint really going anywhere.

The trade makes perfect sense from a timing and cash point of view, and make sense in terms of being able to fix your mids next week. The only problem is missing this weeks points from Moses, which I'm hoping are very good with Brown out.
