1,091 for the round, up to 4,795th overall. 27 trades left, $31k in the bank.

If Riki doesn't start, we might have to go back to MID coin goat roulette for a week until Schuster gets DPP.

Seemed pretty simple until Liddle dropped.

    Niu or Liddle to Simpkin?

Liddle might have some bench poophole value if we hold him this week.

Probably won't be popular but I'd leave the squad is.

I'd put Stefano into starting MID with Chrichton in vacated EDG spot. Then you can see how either Riki or Leniu goes at 18th man (I'd probably go with Riki) and if he tanks just slot Alvaro into Liddle's spot. It's not perfect, but it's how I'd play it this week.

We want Simpkin in. Question is for who, and if there's anything we want to do with the cash

Yeah I can't pass up the basement price HK with some wraps.

Anyone else besides Haas on the must haves?

I figure we can pick him up soon via Niu, Liddle and one of Stefano/Alvaro/Leniu depending who peaks first.

Kinda torn on trading Niu now. Surely won't be dropped for long, especially if there's an injury. Would be nice to have that CTR/WFB cover without forcing a trade or 0 down the line.

Riki I feel is a hold this week, but potentially a more urgent trade next week over Stefano/Alvaro/Leniu.

Holding Liddle this week gives us a free look at Leniu and a Simpkin handcuff if that blew up spectacularly, but we're probably moving him on next week anyway?

My vote was gonna be Niu to Simpkin, but now I'm leaning Liddle to Simpkin Mad

Liddle -> Simpkin would give us $318k.

Could then look at Riki to anyone $812k or lower. Or hold for a week.

If we hold Riki, we could move Harris to EDG and say Stefano to starting MID, and run four of Turpin, SoS, Walker, Simpkin, Alvaro and Leniu on the bench.

Yeah that's a pretty strong bench, probably don't need to hold Liddle for the free look at Leniu vs. Broncos.

Riki to Macca (Rd 13) or Jazz or someone else possibly.

I think I'd vote to hold the second trade and try to target Haas next week.

Tend to agree if no-one is jumping out as a second trade in. Fogarty and Moses getting a fair bit of love in the main thread, but I do like the idea of targeting Haas. Will probably need two trades next week to do it, so banking one this week makes sense...

If we are only trading 1, I'd actually go Riki-Simpkin

Schuster gets EDG next week to provide cover there.
In short term Liddle is probably more likely than Riki to get into a money making position

We can trade Liddle or Niu to Tom Trbojevic if we want to take a punt on his fitness.

There's no easy way to Haas
None of our tradeout targets will make money this week, so we just have to hope he drops a bit more cash for when Leniu/Alvaro/Stefano/Utoi/SOS/Walker are ready to cash out
I think getting Hampton in as cashout (and CTR cover/replace roberts) is our best pass to Haas if we want him soon. Liddle+Riki - Simpkin+Hampton gives us $500k+ in the kitty for Haas next week

Other potential trade ins this week
Tevaga, if we think he'll start medium/long term (slight concerns for me with Harris starting prop)
Tieg Wilton if we think Graham might miss decent game time

worried about Riki losing cash? or think Liddle more likely to come back into the starting lineup? or because Liddle might be good for a loop?

agree we don't need the EDG cover.  as well as Schuster's DPP, if we pick one of the MIDs for the bench, we should also be able to shuffle the decks to have one of Crichton or Harris on the bench as cover.

too many options now!  so we've got:

    Possible trades - zero, 1 or 2
Possible trade-outs - Riki, Liddle, Niu
Possible trade-ins - Simpkin, Tommy T, Moses, Fogarty, Tevaga, Wilton

Personally I'm still thinking one trade, but of the other trade-ins would go for someone likely to play Round 13 (Moses or Fogarty).

Reason for trading Riki is 3 of his 4 bench appearances he has gone sub 20.

Barring injury can't see him getting big minutes, so unless he goes straight back into starting next week he is going to bleed cash.

I kinda have an aversion to trading a green dot with a reasonable BE and holding two reds. Riki is very likely a trade next week, but also a chance that holding pays off. TPJ and Glenn don't mind an injury or suspension, or Walters just switching things up again.

If double trading Liddle and Riki this week, I prefer stacking forwards with someone like Macca (Rd13), Luciano (Rd13) or Jazz. Jazz's ankle concerns me, but Tom Trb even more so.

I'm still thinking Liddle to Simpkin for the 318k bank. Then most likely Riki to Haas next week after cashing one of Stefano, Leniu, Alvaro or even Niu if a basement price cow pops up.

Even if they're not fully peaked next week, surely one of them will be close.
