People interested in Egan - does it bother you that his bye is on R13? I'm keen on him, but that is stopping me pulling the trigger.

I already have Tedesco, Pap, Crichton, Fifita, and Cleary away for Origin (I think). I guess it doesn't hurt to have a couple of people out for R13, since you can only do 10 trades between the byes*

*Can someone who has been around a while fact check that?

I started without Papy but do others think he is a must have?

Lam to Walker (already have Schuster)
    Welch to Papy

if I didn't do welch to papy it would be averillo to SOS but not sure that improves my team.

    Are these good trades? leaves

    Brailey
    BSmith, Watson, Ipapali
    ACrichton, DFifita
    Cleary (c), Schuster
    Peachey, Roberts
    Teddy, Papy, Laurie

    Riki, Leniu, Walker, Liddle

    Hoy, Uto, Averillo, Simonsson

On the centre statue talk - I reckon it could be Cotric (made only between 5-9 tackles in each game). And he has such an action man figurine face and body.

Also with Keary out who partners Cleary in the halves in origin this year - would the candidates be Moses, Wighton and Luai in theat order?
Would love to pick up Moses soon but not sure with origin

Just realised I can do Brooks > Schuster and Tino > Fifita which would leave me 7k itb. It also would mean that I don't get Cleary until probably after R13 when the cows have matured. Ignoring most recent games (I don't want to chase points):

    TU: Get Fifita now
TD: Get Cleary in 1-2 weeks

Comment: Keep Brooks and only trade Avo > Walker (probably means missing out on Schuster)

    My team pre-trades:

I think any of the following 5 + 1 could be a good combo for the season: Teddy, Papy, Mitchel, Laurie, TTrbo (when he's back), and Rapana :RapanaPumped:

    Wighton/Cody Walker --> Daylight --> Luai --> Daylight

I thought Luai was Samoan but apparently not

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary confirmed on Wednesday that halfback Nathan Cleary (head knock) and prop Spencer Leniu (shoulder) are fine to face Manly on Thursday.

All indications are that Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen will return from a neck injury against the Broncos on Friday. His Melbourne teammate Tom Eisenhuth is in doubt with rib cartilage damage despite being named on the bench.

True - Moses is target number 1 then for me. Probably have to do something like Moses + Blore for Liddle + Hoy. 2 week timeframe.

I did Milf to The Peach this week so he can go to my centres next week. Which centre to replace Averillo? Crichton Or Momo?

Really hope Freddy doesn't go full space cadet and pick a team full of fullbacks again. Was our undoing last year so hopefully he's learnt a bit from that. In saying that (in my opinion) there's clear options with what he could go with, and some spots pick themselves

Just off the top off my head

    FB: Tedesco
WG: Addo Carr, and the other one will be a fight between Tupou, Ferguson and Cotric
CTR: This is an interesting one. In my opinion we need specialist centres and there's more than enough quality in NSW to do that. Crichton on the left and Lomax on the right would be really solid. But Freddy will probably pick Latrell on the left (if he keeps up his form) and Gutherson on the right. Wouldn't surprise me if Trbojevic is selected but I don't think he should be.
FE: I think it has to be Wighton. He is wasted in the centres and a big body running five-eighth would be great. I don't rate Walker at all in Origin, he's been a flop and a flat track bully. Luai would be my pick after Wighton due to his combo with Cleary
HB: Will be Cleary unless he's injured

I don't think Moses gets anywhere near the squad. Unless all four of Wighton/Luai/Cleary/Walker are all injured
