sorry the zero vote option got taken out of the poll (i think i have to use the word "zero" rather than 0). if you've got a strong view we should sit tight, feel free to say so...

I went with Davey/Lam to Schuster/Alvaro. Gets rid of two guys who won't be making any money and brings in two that will.

I still think Schuster is risky as hell, but everyone else will be in the same boat anyway.

We pretty much have to trade Davey. Nobody should be voting 0 trades

But tight this week. Davey to Schuster makes a lot of sense, but no obvious candidate for 2nd trade (until we get the benefit of hindsight to let us know what we should have done)

Does Papy and Cleary out change things? Is a second trade (of a player playing this weekend) now a luxury?

No I dont think it does. Always plan to trade the first 3 weeks at max anyway to fix the team. Both those guys missing 1 week doesnt affect thw trades being made, as they arent involved in them.

The trades as stated will give us a $262k kitty next week to start bringing in some guns.

Not terrible, gives us one more look at Averillo, Lam, Turpin to see if they can show why we got them in the team. And have funds to get a decent scorer in next week.

One issue is that if we trade Tino to Alvaro, and we are concerned about Riki potentially being a late out, we'd need to start one of Leniu/Stefano

What's this business? Is this a(nother) potential issue this week? Haven't heard about this one anywhere (much like the Pappy one).

there was a tweet by one of the journos covering Broncos training that Riki had hurt his wrist in an attempted tackle on Matt Lodge. suggestion was that it was an existing injury, strapping on his wrist etc. i don't think there's more than that.
