Something that I haven't seen mentioned really at all is trades. How does everyone attack trading throughout the season and like to start the season? Last year I was really bad with being impatient and what not and panic traded quite often. Just keen to hear anyones thoughts and opinions on trading methods and all that.

I like Macca, not a bad pick imo, if I had to pick a supercow/midranger to elevate to gun this year Macca would be top of the list. I've decided to go midrange in my MIDs I think though, mostly because the position sucks whereas at hooker you've got a clearer choice of gun (Cook) and cow (all the other guys).

    Was MTB, and on point:

"- long history of scoring slightly below gun scores.
    - one dimensional player who can make 55 tackles in a game but score 47
    - getting older, but not getting better, returning from a serious injury."

although if looks like 80 will be tempting again. Forgetting the injury game and the 2 that he scored in, he averaged 60 in his other 5 games for Newey.

I mean if you're grabbing MC9 you're probably only going to keep him until R13 anyway so his 'gun status' doesn't matter as much as his value for money and R13 usefulness. It's either him or D.fifi that are being sent to the gulag

Yeah unrealistically low. I think that prediction is missing a couple of 0s?

That's what I meant, a Wallace-athon should be bringing more than a worst case 50! I'm thinking closer to 65 bare minimum.
