Kikau was in the middle of passing the ball and it was knocked free. If it's not a straight up knock on, its a loose-carry induced knocked on, which is the same thing and has been called that way all year.

So how is this any different to Smith losing the ball when Koro was tackling him? Knocked free knock-on, which was Sutton's initial call.

Panthers have had some bad breaks but compounded them by trying too hard and making stupid mistakes. They haven't played a half like that all season and that's not the referees fault

I think the majority of the calls have been correct but super frustrating going for the Panthers.

Gus thinks even though the panthers are getting pumped, they are still on top :lol!:f

Koro played at the ball? I didnt really see the kikau one but i thought the defender was making a tackle. Happy to be wrong on that as i didnt really see it properly

Because as MTB mentioned Koro played at the ball and hit only the ball. The Kikau one was a guy making a tackle (trying to wrap up the ball - quite different from what Koro did) and connecting with Kikau's arms as well as the ball.

Don't forget Manly recently had a salary cap fine too, the Tiger's got done for not declaring offering a post career job to Robbie Farah while he was at Souths. And there's a strange suspicion that seems to hang over Easts.

It’s consistent but a strange way to rule the Smith knock down as play on. I mean he is holding the ball then the ball is traveling forward from his hands, and it’s knocked back from Koro. So hasn’t Koro forced Smith to knock on? Why because Koro knocked the ball back does the knock on from Smith not count.
