Unless they are top 4 from the start, it will be hard to get people to buy in for the long haul.

An interesting approach may be to target the 8 to 14 year old audience. If you can get kids interested then you will get their parents taking them to games. It worked for the BBL where they fill the gabba for Heat games

That seems like what GWS Giants did in Sydney too. Just smashed the schools with programs, free tickets etc. and playing the long game of building the fanbase up from kids and hoping they stick with it

Assuming you've got nothing to play for, could be a great POD pick. With so much unpredictability this round, think the most important thing to do is to lock in your vice captain as someone you'd be happy with being your captain. Most teams should have two of haas, cleary, ponga, mcinness etc.
