Not worth burning 2 trades to get Haas back and I knew that when I got rid of him. Can't have all the guns

    AFB, Mofo
    Matterson, Murray, Carrigan

Yeah. If Flegler is indeed cooked than it would make the decision easier. Thanks bro.

I guess Wallace could start over Joliffe at any time, but doubt it.

    Carrigan Taupau
    Murray Matterson Yeo
    Cleary Pearce
    Latrell Crichton

Is there anything else you’d do?

I was looking at bringing Haas back next week for Murray, Yeo or Lucy.

Im pretty confident that the report that flegler had opted for surgery is correct..

If that is indeed true, then Ofa should hold the starting spot from here, but his mins probably taper off when Haas is back and his PPM isnt amazing.

I agree wallace is more likely to find himself back on the bench.

The small risk with both - their teams are out of contention and the coaches could mix things up in the run home.

Both players have had a bit more intent in their play in the last few weeks. Wallace obvs wants a contract and im guessing ofa may have been given a "lift or youre gone" memo.

I think neither really stands out over the other. One could jag a try and make all the difference to their average..

Personally, rather than running with garbage at 16 and 17 this week + at 17 for the rest of the season, I'd look to turn Hammer/Randall/Siro/Niu/Koala into an acceptable 17th man with the cash. Murray, Yeo and Lucy are all final 17 worth. Upgrading them to Haas is worth 10-15 points a week. You could easily have a 50 point scorer instead of Siro as 17th man, which looks like a 20 point a week upgrade + 30 extra points this week

Thanks mate.  Yeah hard to split them.  leaning towards Ofa. Holding Haas helps that as if he loses minutes than captain Haas will pick up that slack.  He would probably be a 17th in a loop with Siro.  I think I'm okay with that with 3 trades to spare.  I think going Host to get Smith over Matto might not be worth it depth wise.

Yeah, those 3 are keeper worthy. Upgarding to Haas is a luxury trade and could work or could falter if that trade is needed for a season ender.

That's why I ended up holding Haas. Didn't want to go through the trouble of trying to get him back in next week or getting handcuffed to use a trade just to get him back. Too much work. Looking forward to just slotting him straight back into my 13 next week.

I think the play was to either turn his cash into 2 keepers (I grabbed Matterson and Teddy) or hold him. Trading him out to a lesser scorer but holding cash to bring him back in seemed like a waste to me but too late for that now

Lakers and Clippers have decided to boycott the rest of the NBA season... Not sure what this means for the finals whether Blazer and Mavs now move forward to the next round? Or if Lakers and Clips will return? BIG NEWS BUT

I turned him and Butcher into Tedesco and Bateman... I was still able to fund Lucy to Haas next week but turning Lolo to Matterson this week just cements the Lucy to Haas trade next week regardless of scores.

I guess Wallace could start over Joliffe at any time, but doubt it.

I took a punt on Ofa last week over Wallace as I thought there was a bigger chance he retains a starting spot......but given subsequent injury updates there's not much between them (speculative reports short on detail for both Arrow and Flegler).

To make it harder they both got 46 last week with the start!!! (more minutes for Ofa though)

Gut feel is still that Ofa gets more points between now and the end.

      Current date/time is Fri 17 May 2024 - 13:51
