You have to get a WFB or CTR in if you're gonna have 17 players this week, so Papy's probably your best bet (Storm draw is great and he gets involved), though you could go Nofo or a POD centre if you'd like.

Tough choice but I'm leaning towards Bateman. Has a few games under his belt now after the injury and will want to finish his career at the raiders on a high

Bateman or Fifita would be my pick.

Regardless of what happens you're going to have a bit of money leftover from your last trade

As said to get 17 you need WFB/CTR - though it would feel weird to me having 150k leftover after using last trade on getting Papenhuyzen/RTS/Peachey etc.

I would be tempted to run 16 but get better base & higher price gun and play over Clune/Sironen. It might lose points this week but if Averillo/HTF comes back next week I think you'd score more points for final 4 rounds - basically Papenhuyzen/RTS/Peachey + Clune vs e.g. Jurbo/Bateman & Averillo/HTF in future weeks

Also the gamble to hope Lolo comes back earlier (although NRL Physio has said calf around 3 weeks) and trade in some useless 300k player to fill gap (Asi) but I think that is pretty bad use of last trade

Weigh in on two trade-ins for the community team - perfect antidote when you're desperately trying to conserve your own (or don't have any left...).

Yeah I was thinking Papy but maybe Hughes is an option? Would you consider him?

Hughes isn't a bad one, but don't expect 45+ points every week, he has his good games and his bad games. Some games he will get a try with some TBs, and a couple assists and rack up 70 (or a ton as we saw last week), some games he'll struggle to crack 30.

If you think he'll score well thanks to the Storm draw, then get on.

This idea did come into my thought process as well,playing with 16(this week at least) doesn’t seem too bad when I can straight swap Lolo to Bateman for example. I also don’t like being left with lots of cash unused from my last trade,just doesn’t feel right. Who would you bring in personally mate?

If you were to go for 16, Bateman/Jurbo would be who I would look at (you already got Cook, and then Grant won't be 80 mins)

Just looking at numbers using last 3 average as lazy

17 players with best recent WFB (Papenhuyzen) + Sironen (one who wouldn't play if 16 as lower last 3 than Clune) = (49 + 26) * 5 = 375
16 players with Jurbo assuming 17 next week with HTF = (59.7 * 5) + (24.3 * 4) = 395.7
16 players with 17 after 2 weeks with HTF = (59.7 * 5) + (24.3 * 3) = 371.4

Looks like a tough decision

I checked out the top 50, and here are some stats:

- 2 teams with 7 red dots
- 8 teams with 6 red dots
-19 teams with 5 red dots

There are only 4 teams who can field a strong 17 (not AE scoring type player in the 17)

FingerPuppetMafia looks like the strongest team in the pack at rank 35

It would have been a brilliant time for a second brisbane club in 2021 to establish a supporter base. Heaps would of jumped ship!

Think I’m leaning towards Lolo to Bateman as my last trade and just playing with 16 this week. Hoping HTF or Averillo get a recall next week maybe. Don’t have anything to lose so whatever will be will be.

Yeah, you're looking pretty good. There will be a bunch of teams dropping this week.
Siro isn't too bad
