Don't have Maubs but I'd look at Croker, Suli and Blake for job security and price. Out of those I like Suli for the run home draw.

I was looking at Blake as I have a soft spot for him after picking him up a couple of years ago for his great run but I just don't see it happening this year.

EDIT: I want the Peach but he's priced out of reach.

RTS found 7 pts in updates , 29 looks better than 22 somehow

Yeah I was going to suggest Mbye for price, job security and dpp but that draw is horrendous.

Yeah I have Talau as my 2nd ctr (Wiliame my backup) so I will probably need to get another ctr with a good run when Talau's draw gets tough which is next week. However they play the Roosters next week who are not playing like the usual Roosters with their injuries so Talau is possibly playable.

Penrith have been flogging everyone. They play a team everyone was expecting to get the spoon and be flogged most weeks. They keep it really close and lose12-18.

View on this forum - they could have won if they gave more game time to the guy who was missing the most tackles.

Well depends on the context of the missed tackles. If you're rushing up to make first contact and halt the momentum of the runner then you're probably doing a good job.

If someone concedes 3 penalties but they were all on the goal line to help the team reset their defence, is it poor discipline or is tactical?

Wouldn't read too much into negative stats on paper the same way good fantasy scores don't reflect great performance.

Good point.  Same with Nofo, that's quite reassuring.

Talau still gets a few tb's (he's averaging 4 tb's per game) so he still may score 25+ even against tougher opposition.

Because according to the Hindu-Arabic numeral system, 29 has a greater value than 22 by 7 digits.

I hope this rain in Aussie goes away from next week because it stops J. Paulo from using his ball skills & offloads. It's just tuck up the ball & run in the wet.

Aubo owner with 3 trades left and 6k in the bank. I can run McIntyre as my second CTR but I'd have no CTR/WFB depth plus my 17th man would have to be either Clune or Sironen for the foreseeable future. Yikes.

I'm in the top 250 but damn I could be set for a real tumble down the rankings. All those damn trades wasted on CTR's coming back to bite me.

Was it for the tackle on Paulo? Dog act going at the leg like that when he was already tackled

They've got to properly identify and outlaw those tackles. They're crazy dangerous for how common they've become.
That was probably the worst one I've seen too.

Any attempt to drop weight onto a player below the knees should be a penalty and on report.

Player is still moving forward (albeit barely) so its performed to drop the player to the ground. It's effective thus why we are seeing it happen so often but its going to cause so many injuries.

Oh well, felt nice having a second rower in the centre position for one week. What a luxury that was.

    Blast from the Past
One of the few things I brought over from NZ as it fit in the bag rolled up and just got around to opening it (Many years)
Probably will get around to framing it one day as the laminte protected it but is rippled now

Playing a starting lock for less than 40mins with no injury (less than Adam Blair) and hoping he stays at the club next year while you keep signing forwards

On another note hope the sharks manage to get Tohu Harris, has been in talks though would take Tevaga as well

    Really, Tohu !? Awesome

Apparently a few players are looking to the future as they are unsure where the Warriors will be based next season
Would be an awesome signing if we could pull it off, will probably come down to some of the big $$ tied up on the books and where they are next year (Fifita/Moylan/Dugan/Townsend)
