Moses going to be a popular trade in this week - wouldn't count on him being too PODdy

    Hehe, you said poddy*

whats the popular opinion on Brimson? was thinking of taking a punt, i can bring him in for a backline of Teddy, Ponga, AJ, Lomax, Mitchell with Talau in reserves and still have enough cash to turn Oates into either Moses or Fifi, i'd be running with Siro and Randall in the loop for my 17th then.

or if i ignored him, i could turn Lomax and Niu into Moses and Fifi, and run Teddy, Ponga, HTF, Mitchell, Talau with Oates in reserve.

should mention that these are likely my final non-injury related trade, so whatever i run with I'm stuck with the rest of the season.

Here's the thing with Corey Norman, he kind of sucks. I'm sure there'll be a lot of Dragons fans who welcome him being dropped.

As long as Hunt gets his DPP status and can cover for Grant, I'll be fine.

    Best, Latrell
    Tedesco, Ponga, Pap

    Hunt, Mann, Randall, Starling

    Young, Averillo, Taulua, Eisenhuth

If Best is out a week I can loop Taulua/Averillo/Latrell

I may trade Mann to Fifita, JTrbojevic or someone under 800k

    So it looks like

McInnes, RFM, Leilua, Crichton, Moses, & Robson

    Vs

Taupau, Yeo, Latrell, Hunt, Mann, & Randall/Young

    I like your bunch better.

His FB average I don’t think is enough regardless to take the punt? Around 43? Not enough I don’t think unless starting in your WFB as 3rd

Contemplating Brimson as a boom/bust 18th man trade in a few weeks

Had the same train of thought last week when I went to throw the majority of my life savings ($7.40 and an unwrapped 1988 Ellery Hanley figurine) on him ATS, but then realised he was showing 1.40 on TAB. Might put a little bit on him this week for a hattie though.

Warriors interim coach Todd Payten has revealed he was offered the job full-time but has decided not to take up the opportunity.

Speaking on NRL 360 on Fox Sports on Monday night, the former prop said he had an interview recently and was offered the job last week.

Payten is keen to get the North Queensland coaching position which became vacant after Paul Green and the club parted ways last month.

He had family reasons behind it apparently with a relative undergoing chemotherapy in Australia

It's interesting that Hunt seems to play better at HOK but he prefers to play halfback. He should just make his peace with playing at 9 for the better of the team.
I enjoyed seeing him taking kicks out of dummy half, it adds an extra dimension to the hooking role.
