If titans drop Boyd, Cartwright and James leaves too that’ll free up a tonne of space to sign a decent spine and some older heads.

Wonder how much Titans have to free up to make a one year offer to Cam Smith.

Surely Broncos fans can't be mad at Fifita? He was offered a life changing deal at the Titans which is where he went to school.... Can't really blame Fifita for taking the deal, especially when the Broncos are paying Boyd and Milford ridicuolous amounts. And as always... money talks

Not mad but that doesn't mean I want to see him back this year. We won't make finals so why play him when he's committed elsewhere.

That's ridiculous. If he's healthy you'd be crazy not to have him in the 17 just cause he's leaving the club... he's a game-changer. Plus the Broncos desperately need results so why wouldn't they play their best players?

because you don't want your entire squad to be even more devoid of confidence by losing every week and leaving one of their best players on the sidelines so you're not even giving them a chance?

Did you not read the "won't make the finals" part? Obviously that is my view, plus many others. I am expecting him to be back in the side when fit but personally, I don't want him to play.

He chose to take the pay packet so good luck to him.

Can you see from the players point of view that not playing him would further damage their likelihood of winning games and therefore their confidence?

Right, because they're not already at rock bottom? It can't get any worse than it already is.

don't get me wrong, not mad at Fifita at all, if some-ones dumb enough to offer him play-maker money to stand on the edge of the field and scratch his arse for half the game, then good for him, go get it.

what I am sick of is us getting walked all over, we signed Bird and when he got injured afterwards, the Sharks just put him back together with bits of gaffer tape until it was time to hand him over and just went 'your problem now', the Cowboys gave Kahu back to us needing major reconstructive surgery 3 months after their season was done and dusted, if the Titans want him bad enough to offer him stupid money to fuck over our long-terms plans, then fuck 'em, 'your marquee signing hasn't played footy in a year, have fun Smile'

Sounds like my logic when we were playing sharemarket simulator game at school. Buy stocks right at the bottom thinking they can only go up, and they somehow keep going down Razz

I am pretty sure that both Cartwright and Boyd have asked for a release so that means we don’t need to pay them out, doesn’t it?

We shouldn't even be close to last with the talent we have.
