I want to see Havilli first before jumping on. he was underwhelming last year when Hodgson was out a few weeks. i'm not convinced.

Trust all of NBrown and Hunt to come good now haha
I'm struggling to find the balance between racing to final 17 and banking some trades. Checking that we were only at round 10 helped me realise we have a long way to go yet

hmmm I've got just enough cash to go Rudolf to Mofo which will allow me to play Carrigan on the bench as cover. Alternatively I could get NBrown and have some cash ITB but run without cover in the FRF...

NBrown has gun scores but prone to injury and suspension scratch

Tedesco is now more expensive than Cook and 9k cheaper than Haas. Purple patch or not, I'm backing the forwards to comfortably outscore him over the rest of the season

This is my 21 so far, really not sure what to do with it at all, just don’t feel like I can sit on it for some reason.

    Koro
    Haas, Mofo
    JTurbo, Murray, Butcher
    DCE, Norman
    Crichton, Niu
    Teddy, Ponga, Pappy

    Grant, Robson, Carrigan, Leilua
    Luai, Talau, HTF, Paix

10 trades left and the banks empty.

Prices seem to have halted a lot the last two weeks with the scores so looking really hard to keep upgrading and getting keepers in.

Yeah I regretted trading him in last year, but mainly because Hodgson returned slightly earlier than expected.

In the 5 games he's played 70+ mins, I remember his defence being questionable from tiring out. Doesn't show in his MT count though. Averaged almost bang on 50 in those games.

Played 8 games between 50 and 70 mins and averaged just under 42.

I think Ricky will play him close to 60 mins and he'll average around 45. Great value for his price, but probably want to upgrade him to a 55 avg in a few weeks if he's 17th man.

That goes for the top end too though, all it takes is one or two off weeks for them and all of a sudden that guy you thought was way out of reach is attainable.

This was the lowest scoring round since the restart (but still more points than all except 1 round last year) so price changes should have been more inline with expectations.

I listened to Ricky he said Havili will be a big part of what they do, Starling will come into the mix. I can’t see Starling getting more than 25mins.

It really doesn't matter if Havili is playing hooker or not. He'll be getting bigger minutes at either hooker or lock looking at their forward stocks. Still not saying he's a definite pick up

    No idea if I should do anything with my team;

    CM13
    Haas Mofo
    Tolo Young Lucy
    Pearce DCE
    Niu Lomax
    Pappy Teddy Nofo

    Grant Koro Carrigan Luai

    Herbie Hetherington Hammer Talau

51K and 11 trades. If anyone sees anything worthwhile let me know, much appreciated.

My team currently looks like this:

    Grant
    MoFo, Haas
    Matterson, Angus, Taumalolo
    Cleary, Field
    Lomax, Niu
    Tedesco, Ponga, Pappy

    Koro, Carrigan, Su'A, Rudolf

Paix, JHop, Tom Eisenhuth Sad, Averillo

    12 trades 55k ITB

I feel like I have a fairly strong team at the moment but there are definitely issues having a few NPRs that won't generate cash. I think I'll be trading Su'A and JHop to Hunt and a cashie if any decent ones appear. Hunt can slot into the 13 and I'll loop Field with whoever I bring in.

I agree with this. I like him as a player but as we know that doesn't make him a guaranteed fantasy success

If someone can say that running your team as is for a couple of weeks and conserving trades will put me in a better position to keep pushing for the top then I’ll do it

Your team looks like something you could sit on for a few weeks, for sure.

You've got Paix who is probably done so perhaps trade him to another cow, but no obvious options either imo.
