If I traded Luke Thompson in this week, Young would be 18th man this week

Given injuries this year, having a solid 18th man is not something I am going to ignore

He's clearly not a final 17 team player, will be cashed out at some point. Ideal is probably Young + RFM to McInnes + cashout
He’s not but surely 45 points is too much to be non scoring for a punt on Thompson?

Nice to see Sam McIntyre named, hope he's ok and can get back on track (making me some money)

Even if Thompson gets the role we want, how do we know he'll score well in the NRL?

Yea this is my hope this week mate, looks like hamstring still lingering and was probably still a week too early. He was there on merit previously so hopeful he gets it back

Well I don't want to trade Young to Thompson. And I'm not going to ignore Thompson because it means a 40 point player moves out of my 17.
I'd much rather have Young in emergencies than Paix/other rubbish that the top teams have. Can't rely on Harvey Norman bailing you out everytime a player goes down.

Waiting is probably OK because Crichton has a low BE and it gives the safety of seeing Thompson play, but if Thompson busts out a 70 then lose cash and points.
Already made that mistake once this month by waiting on Mann - DCE, so I guess Crichton to Thompson is my way of overcompensating

Ahhh well I’d probably keep him especially with Talau and his dodgy hamstrings in the equation

There’s a 350k dual, handsome CTR I’m looking at, had no previous affiliation with my team

Big difference waiting on a proven GUN like DCE over a guy who has never played a minute of NRL action. I’ve got big wraps on Thompson but a firm wait for me. He’s priced higher than Butcher who is at least proven he can go well fantasy wise

    Nice work!

Part of me wants to hold trades but part of me also wants to sell Wiliame and Averillo to Sutton and Niu. Got 10 trades left if I do both of those, but idk.

I get it, but I think I like the safety of waiting. MTBs BEs aren't quite right, but going by them, if Crichton hits his avg of 31 and Thompson bangs out a 70, they both go up in value and only differ by about 10k in increase. It's really just the points.
