But. He’s quick and playing 80 outside SJ with a nice series of fixtures to look forward to. At 577 with a BE of 44 he won’t set any hearts a-flutter unless he finds the tryline. But he really might.

    Anyone tempted?

Also there the mentality that hes not available at center anymore and therefor he has less value

At least I have that problem

My only advantage over most other teams was already having both Teddy and Ponga. I haven’t even got to have them both on the park in the same round before that has just become standard for most teams.

This post should come with a trigger warning

Is 13 trades left too little coming in to the back end of the year focusing on h2h only?

Any idea on what the worst case minutes might look like for Butcher? 40mins? After more (over)thinking he's tempting instead of Young as I think his upside is much better, but trying to gauge what his floor might be

Getting Ted kind of completes my backline also. Another reason why I just want to get Ted now. Will be running Pappy, Ted and Nofo. Will have to miss Ponga unless I can luxury upgrade Pappy, but that won't be for a few weeks I'd say. My centres are also Talau and Lomax which I may plan to keep for the year if Talau can average 30.

Looking at twitter, Justin O'Neill didn't train yesterday but did today, which will explain the Hammer at wing photos.

Prospects don't look good for Hammer this week. Sad face

Yeah, pretty sure you build a team the 'old school' way I subscribe too which is try and get some balance, build cash, add guns when the opportunity presents in the position you need them etc etc

Have seen a few teams with what I would consider weak spots trying to engineer peak price TED in to an already strong back 5. This seems to be particularly hazardous this year when the mid season cows are all flaky outside backs.

Now that I have had a whinge he will bust out another ton this weekend Very Happy

EDIT : Can't even remember what set me off on this....I am a miserable old bastard. Carry on Laughing

Without HTF I need Tedesco this week regardless, a value Moses will make up for a peak price Tedesco so balances out

Big news - reports in that Cameron Smith has been switched to halfback. What do we reckon if the cheese starts at #9 (if he plays 80)

    Bateman return - NRL Physio
John Bateman is at least another month away from returning after having a second shoulder surgery 5 weeks ago. Matches initial reports of a 10 week recovery, making estimated return to play Rd14
