Absolutely, I think everyone (except me of course) forgot him until Bethany piped up
I had my Moses and Katoa to Cleary and Young swap loaded up (to be reversed about 120 times by Thursday)

Teeth Eater wrote:Man this is occupying my mind heavily. I could play safe and probably smart as I was going to do, or I could go balls out and just trade Drinkfucker, Rudolf, JTB & Paix for something sexy... or add Moses to the mix instead of Paix and really go all out.
I was conserving trades quite well so as much as I don't want to use them all, I could just say fuck it, they're just a bonus anyway so let's get ridiculous.
But I dunno. Really got no strong idea about which route to take now. Sure wish Teddy and Ponga were cheaper...
Things to consider.

The regulars will not leave. That's why they're regulars. If you can turn those casuals into regulars then it's a win long term.
Ultimately, there's worse things going on then two extra trades that people will use on shit centres anyway. What's done is done mate.
At the end of the day I don't care either way, it's a fun little thing to do to make the game more entertaining. Anyone genuinely getting upset by it needs to step back and ask themselves is it worth going mental about

Last time you used this I promised my self I would start using it in the real world. I did not. This time I vow to.
Poppycock...

Glance at fixture list says Newcastle are best option for this with seven of their games on Sunday, four Satyrday, two Friday, no Thursday. But they don't have a 212k player, would have to be 228k.
Unless I'm overlooking something, and I have only glanced, Manly are second best (five Sunday, five Saturday, three Friday, no Thursday) but do have a 212k red dot.
Which is the value play?

5 games until end of season. Changing our scoring system to match that of supercoach because well you know league has changed its interchange ruling. Also introducing -4 for MTs. Don’t worry it effects everyone the same!
Thanks. Gees it’s tempting I can dump the Reindeer, Twal, Moses, and Drink for Niu, Butcher, Lolo, and Cleary. I think I’d better stick to two this week. I’ll need the freebies next week!standard-issue wrote:
It says they are "added to your Season total" and up to 4 available this Round. SO you don;t need to use them this Round mate.
If I wasn't thinking about quitting already, this would have really helped.GreenMachine wrote:
I know this was unpopular opinion but Honeysett is largely right vis a vis Casuals.
I come from online gaming (Poker) and we couldn’t really grow that product and game until we gave more back to the “fish”. That is, doing more things that reward them.
Now this is a free to play not a real money environment but the same goes here. Recreationals ALWAYS need to come first or your product and game doesn’t grow.
Where you are a little off HS is that the Regs won’t leave.
They do and they will, but by nature of such ecosystems the harsh reality is that it doesn’t matter as much as you think
Less sharks eating fish, more fish breeding and growing and having a great time. The Regs unfortunately are the spokespersons and all the figureheads of the product (and the noisy ones - so do contribute) but they are also niche, the minority, and fantasyfanatics like places won’t be the difference between 50k registerations and 100k next year.
So we will lose some sharks next year but likely be more players and office leagues than ever.
In short, we don’t matter as much as you think

1/3rd of the way through the season, the value play is not to deliberately play short, even with bonus trades
