Yeah mate when I heard on the news there was a tornado I thought I wonder if Cake Tiger still went to Mangawhai. When I was younger a mate of 1 of my mates moved up there with his family & we used to go up there at least once a month. Great pub & the Island you can see when you sit in the garden bar at the back there were people who lived there & when the tide was down they used to come over on horses.

We arrived lunchtime so before the main weather action started. Didn't see the tornado but heard the town alarm go off. Wild wind through the night. Bit calmer today.

If the pub you're talking about is the Mangawhai Tavern, yep it's quite nice in there. Had a refit in the last year or so.

259/5 for me with Fui to be l**ped in.
Looking good so far, live rank 2709, but with missing most of the carnage and having a solid 17 on the field I reckon I should be able to sneak into the top 300 by the end of the round

Has anyone complained yet about Cleary not getting that LBA, it was blatant and still I can’t believe they missed it. If we complain then he may get it!

I was wondering if anyone went ahead with trading Friend out. I was quite tempted but then realized that my trades were locked in. small victories.

I don’t see the appeal. He got his highest score of the season but didn’t pick up any extra minutes.
I mean, he’s still averaging 55 points so not a bad shout but certainly didn’t do anything to make me think I need to rush him in.

I’ve seen people making this facetious joke since the Latrell incident last week.
But I get the feeling that you are actually serious.

Too big a can of worms for my mind.

Yeah for me it was a bit of a luxury trade. Other coaches probably had enough other areas in their team to worry about.
I was going Mann to Ponga this week instead. Now Mann gets to stick around a while longer which isn't a bad thing.
Mann to Ponga wasn't an ideal trade either, but I really wanted to give a boost to my WFB especially with Turbo, Teddy and Best out and fantasy coaches being forced to play a cheapie for cover. It was the perfect opportunity to gain some ground by bringing in a big gun.

I was originally planning to trade out Twal this week and Papy next week but am now thinking of holding them both, but I need a 2rf.
I had the same idea. I will instead be playing 16 and bought in Talau over McIntyre as who knows how many minutes he gets. I’m sure his 30 was only because we lost both Twal and Musgrove inside about 20 minutes and the winger just before half time.

Every single game has fantasy scoring discrepancies... you win some and you lose some I say.
I've learned to not to pay too much attention to it, because it will rob you of the enjoyment of a good game of footy.

If I was around for team lists I probably would have benched Friend but wouldn't have considered trading him out. A 20 odd score would have stalled his cash generation

Fair enough! All I see is most will be trying to bring in Marty in the next two weeks with his price drop I was going to go another way with someone more pody. Seeing how he went last night with the new rotations im convinced. I was worried Merrin was going to get a lot more than 32 mins. To me it seals that Vaughan is the main guy

So Tohu Harris is looking pretty legit. 70+ in a thrashed side where team morale would be at an all time low.

I guess my only concern with him would be how long can he keep up being one of the few Warriors to give it his absolute all every week.

Rumour he's another Warrior that wants to go home.

Hasn't Friend just become a locked in keeper?
